Madonna Is A Rice Krispie Treat Whiz

“Cooking is not in my DNA. My kids all cook really good. I could cook if you put a gun to my head, but after a long day at the office I want to come home and find my dinner on the table. Oh, my gosh, everyone prepares it, but me. Sometimes my daughter Lourdes likes to cook my food. They all help. I can boil an egg, scramble eggs, cook pasta, make coffee, whip up a round of sandwiches and — get this — concoct ‘Rice Krispie’ treats.”

Madonna, explaining the limited extent of her cooking repertoire to the Daily Mail. It’s very hard to imagine Madonna making anything with marshmallows. [ONTD] Keep reading »

Madonna’s Publicist Defends Her Loathing Of Hydrangeas; Says It’s Not As Bad As Hating Puppies

“She’s entitled to like any flower she wants and she didn’t want to hurt the feeling of the hydrangeas of the world. No disrespect to the hydrangeas lovers of the world but she prefers different types of flowers … It’s not like she said she hated warm chocolate chip cookies and milk and little puppies!”

Madonna‘s publicist, Liz Rosenberg, defends the Material Girl in the Hydrangea Incident of 2011. Earlier this week, after a fan gifted her with a bouquet of hydrangeas, Madonna cooed, “I loaaaaaaathe hydrangeas.” Rosenberg says this is her prerogative. Though wait, does Madonna really hate puppies? Kidding. [Celebitchy] Keep reading »

Please Note, Madonna Loathes Hydrangeas

Watch Video

I didn’t know it was possible to detest a flower. Sure, you can prefer one over another, but to loathe a flower? When a reporter at the Venice Film Festival brought an offering of hydrangeas to Madonna during a press interview, she accepted them graciously enough, but then passive-aggressively rolled her eyes and announced how much she loathes hydrangeas. Obviously, the reporter was unaware, as were we. Thank god we know now. We, the adoring public, promise never to present Madonna with hydrangeas ever, ever again. Has everyone made a note of this on their ledgers? Fantastic! Carry on, then. [D Listed] Keep reading »

Lady Gaga’s Latest Madonna Move: Releasing A Sexy Coffee Table Book

Lady Gaga maintains that “Born This Way,” complete with the high blonde ponytail styling, was not a rip-off of Madonna’s “Express Yourself.” But now it looks like Gaga is taking another page from Madge’s fame playbook. Gaga is releasing her own photo book, which will be called Lady Gaga, and will contain 350 color and black-and-white photos of her, snapped by Terry Richardson. Richardson apparently followed her for 10 months while she was on tour and recording her new album to create these images. [Huffington Post]

But this book of course, reminds me a whole lot of Madonna’s coffee table book for perverts, Sex. Keep reading »

Watch 9-Year-Old Boy “Vogue” His Heart Out In 1991

Only in my wildest dreams would I unearth an old VHS tape from my mom’s storage unit and find evidence of my youthful spunk that is this fantastic. Above, 9-year-old Robert Jeffrey, performing Madonna’s “Vogue” in 1991. Adult Robert Jeffrey explains: “My parents took me to Hampton Beach Casino in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire. A business in the casino at the time gave tourists the chance to lip-synch to their favorite pop songs in front of a blue screen background, and I was lucky enough to partake that summer.” And now, thanks to the internet and Robert’s generosity, so are we.
