A little over a week after Madonna won custody of four-year-old Mercy James, a nanny was sent to Malawi via private jet to pick her up. The two arrived in London’s Heathrow airport on Saturday where Mercy was immediately whisked away to meet her new mother and siblings, Lourdes, 12, Rocco, 8, and David, 3, at a local Kabbalah center for a meeting. I realize the tot got to fly first class, but even so, a flight from Malawi to London is no small deal for a kid — you’d think she could at least get a bath and nap first before hitting the prayer beads. The family — including Guy Ritchie, who is taking sons, Rocco and David, to his place for a bit while Mercy settles in — spent an hour at the center before heading back to Madonna’s London home (wonder when/if they’ll be heading to New York?).

As you know, David Letterman’s been getting a lot of flack for opening up his trap about Sarah Palin and her family. He won’t shut up about it. She won’t shut up about it. What’s especially strange is that Forbes cites Jolie’s blockbuster “Wanted” as a major reason she reached this pinnacle. Yeah, it made $340 million, but it’s still got nothing on an Oprah’s Favorite Things episode. Keep reading »
Sex sells and Madonna’s made 500 million bucks at it. But even M, one of the most lusted after women in the world and is the author of a porn tome simply called Sex, can get the brush off by a boy toy. In a recent interview, Jesus Luz, Madonna’s supposed future husband, said, “She is my friend, just a friend.” As if! Haven’t we all heard the “just friends” line once or twice? There’s plenty of bad news we’d rather hear from a guy that’s seen us naked than that kinda of buddy line. A bunch of not-so-hot things we’d rather hear from guy, after the jump…
