It’s been a big day for PETA! First they get their vegan organic cotton panties in a wad over President Obama swatting and killing a fly, then they score Lydia Guevara for their latest ad. Who is Lydia Guevara? She happens to be the granddaughter of Cuban guerilla leader, Ernesto “Che” Guevara, who helped Fidel Castro overthrow the Cuban government before being killed in 1967. Depending on who you ask, Che is either a heroic revolutionary or a murderer (or just that really cool looking guy featured on T-shirts sold at Urban Outfitters), but his legacy does inspire a neato costume for Lydia.
