I like to think that “The City” and “The Hills” alum Whitney Port occasionally has a David Byrne “This is not my beautiful house, this is not my beautiful life, how did I get here?” moment. Because hey, she seems relatively sane and well-adjusted and, I dunno, way smarter than most of her reality TV compatriots. Like, she should really just be going to college, getting a masters in bookbinding or psychology and living quietly on the coast. But instead, this is Whitney Port’s reality — shilling a clothing line at the Magic trade show in Las Vegas. And wearing this outfit, which almost, almost works, but somehow doesn’t. What do you think? [Photo: Fame/Flynet]
Generally, I am not a fan of jumpsuits or Lady Skrillex hair (though I do love silently saying in my head, Girrrrrrrrrrrrl, you got Skrillex hair!). But somehow, I think this look, worn by Cassie — who, to be honest, had Lady Skrillex hair before Skrillex was even a thing — really works on her. I don’t know, though, it’s still a jumpsuit, and what is Cassie even doing at Cannes, anyway? Does this look work for her? You decide.
At first glance, I really loved this dress that British actress Summer Strallen wore to the Olivier Awards. But then I kept looking at it, and it started to fall out of favor with me. Maybe the print looked a little chintzy or cheap. I’m still not sure. What do you think?
A-ha! So that’s why we’ve been suffering through some horrible Dan Humphrey hair on “Gossip Girl” this season. Penn Badgley wants to look like … John Mayer.
This morning, Nicki Minaj visited the Elvis Duran radio show, and she wore this outfit. It reminded us a lot of something we would have worn on the first day of third grade. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Who can say? You can. (Listen to her interview with Elvin here!)
Here’s Piper Perabo at the Cinema Society’s screening of “The Hunger Games.” She’s looking rather vampy and sexy — but is it just too much? Should the shirt maybe be, oh, I don’t know, buttoned, just a tad? In the current pose, her outfit looks almost a bit post-coital, wouldn’t you say?
