We here at The Frisky try to avoid Ann Coulter on the theory that if you ignore it, it will go away. But every now and then she says something so ridiculous that we just can’t keep quiet about it. Recently, she’s been saying that Muslims shouldn’t be allowed on airplanes. Instead, she says they should take “flying carpets.” At the University of Ottawa on Monday night, a Muslim student stood up and challenged her on this. Ann’s response to her? “So take a camel.” The audience began to boo. The next evening, when a second appearance was scheduled, a massive number of student protesters showed up and school officials decided to cancel the event.
