Hollywood has a problem: a bunch of hot, young celebrities are running around and not making hot offspring with each other. This is why we’ve complied a list of sexy stars who should totally hook up and have babies. It’s not Mindy Kaling‘s fault that she hasn’t had beautiful kids with Liam Hemsworth yet. No one has pointed out the possibility … until now. See which other famous pairs would make the world a more aesthetically gratifying place by procreating.
“I don’t think I realized what 19 truly is, and I got engaged at 19 and I definitely wouldn’t change being engaged. It was so fun wearing a fat rock for a few years. But now I wait for those moments of silence, when I’m just at my house by myself. … I was so scared of ever being alone, and I think conquering that fear this year was actually bigger than any other transition that I had this entire year. I don’t ever want to have to need someone again where you feel like, without them, you can’t be yourself.”
Is that really Miley Cyrus talking? That girl in the cat-patterned playsuit who twerks on Father Christmas and lights joints onstage? She’s taken a minute from screaming “PAY ATTENTION TO MEEEEEE!” to do an interview for “Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People Of 2013.” While I beg to disagree that Miley is fascinating — I mean, maybe in like a five-car pileup way? — she did say something refreshingly mature to Babs. Miley doesn’t regret getting engaged to Liam Hemsworth but said she stayed engaged to him way longer than she should have because she was afraid of being alone. She sure isn’t the only person to have this fear, not by a long shot, and good for her to realize it at 21. Yes, let’s keep this up. More self-awareness please! [E! Online] [Image via Getty]
“I just believe that when a chapter is done, you have to close it and start that new one. That’s kind of where I am right now. I felt like I have so much to be thankful for at this time that my energy hasn’t really been focused on that. … I want to be really clear and determined with everything that I’m doing in my life right now, and I have been. I keep saying I’m the happiest I’ve ever been and that’s not even a dig, that’s just me because I really am genuinely happy finally with myself. I think sometimes it takes you separating yourself from someone else to really be happy with who you are. I’ve never been able to just be alone — and I’m obsessed with being alone and hearing my thoughts.”
Miley Cyrus, congratulations on discovering the awesome silence that comes with being single. Miley appeared on “Ellen” yesterday and was very candid with the talk show host about her recent split from fiance Liam Hemsworth. She also said that, though she didn’t realize it while she was recording Bangerz, her new album is “is telling a story” about their relationship and “I think I knew more intuitively where my life was going, than I actually thought I did at the time.” Something tells me Bangerz isn’t going to be on Liam’s iPod anytime soon. Well, that was quick! The dissolution of Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus‘s four-year relationship was long rumored to have been caused in part by his infidelity (and maybe having something to do with her, well, you know) after he was allegedly seen making out in public with “Mad Men” star January Jones. But this week, just a day after confirming his separation from Cyrus, Liam was reportedly photographed canoodling with Mexican actress and singer Eiza González in Las Vegas. Here’s the real kicker: in 2010, González, 23, starred in a Nickelodeon Latin America-produced telenovela called “Sueña Conmigo.” The premise? She starred as Clara Molina, also known by her stage name Roxy Pop, a seemingly regular teenager who must keep her rock star alter ego a secret as she competes on a reality TV show. AHHHHHHHH! So Celebrity Relationship “Twilight Zone.” There’s always the chance that Liam and Eiza’s hookup could be a one-off, but regardless, I’m sure this won’t be the last we see of Eiza … [E! Online]
And so, the sun sets on another Hollywood love story. Reps for both Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth confirmed to People Magazine today that the couple, who met in 2010 on the set of The Last Song, have split.
The dishy 23-year-old Australian popped the question to Cyrus, 20, in May 2012. Read more at Celebuzz…
“A particular film that had a real impact on me as a teenager was ‘Harold & Kumar [Go To White Castle].’ It had a deep impact on me. When it came out, I was 16 or 17, and my friends watched it religiously. We didn’t even know that White Castle was real then. We didn’t have it in Australia, and we assumed that it was made up for this movie. And it wasn’t until I came to the States that I found out that White Castle was a real place. When I shot the first ‘Hunger Games,’ Josh Hutcherson took me to his place in Kentucky … and he said there was a White Castle right by his house, so we bought three or four of these briefcases of White Castle burgers. We took them back to his house, and we ate them. And then, about a half an hour later — this was our first real bonding experience, me and Josh, this is when we became good friends — we went out to his garden and we threw up together.”
–”Hunger Games” star Liam Hemsworth told Jimmy Kimmel this charming story about his deep, real-life bond with Josh Hutcherson, who of course plays his romantic rival Peeta Mellark in the films. This story gave me an idea for a possible plot twist for “Catching Fire”: sponsors drop bags of White Castle burgers into the arena, all the tributes eat until they vomit and become BFFs. Hunger Games canceled in favor of a free screening of “Harold & Kumar” at the Capitol, hosted by President Snow, who — little known fact — can’t resist a good stoner comedy. What? It could happen! Not sure if I love this unique patchwork dress or am just really excited to see Miley taking a break from her basketball jersey and thigh-high boots uniform (probably both), but I’m giving this look a big thumbs up. Miley was on the red carpet with fiance Liam Hemsworth (side note: didn’t they break up? No? I thought they did?) at the premiere of his new movie, “Paranoia.” Depending on which tabloid you read, the two were either acting like giddy schoolgirls in love, or angry strangers who barely acknowledged each other’s existence. So, there you go. [Photo: Splash News]
