Is it just us, or did Leona Lewis look like a Lady Gaga copycat at Perez Hilton’s birthday? Sorry, lady, but we prefer your sexy diva look to this new drunken clown thing. [The Cut] Keep reading »
No, the trend of celebrities transitioning into fashion designers hasn’t ended yet, and with Fashion Month fully underway, it’s inevitable that a few more Hollywood stars will announce their plans to venture into the designing world. Today’s news comes from Leona Lewis, who has taken her inspiration from Stella McCartney. As a practicing vegetarian, Leona, like Natalie Portman, who used to design a line of vegan shoes for Te Casan, refuses to wear any clothes made with animal products. Hence, she’s launching her own vegan line.
“I’m trying to make that happen as soon as I can. It’s a challenge — mostly with shoes — as I don’t wear any leather and am very ethical about what I wear. I love wearing Stella McCartney, but one day I hope to have to my own line of ethical clothes and accessories.”
Her line still needs a name, but it’s sure to include red carpet options for Leona’s appearances. [Vogue UK] Keep reading »
“I’m from Hackney, so I’m hard. I’m not going to let something like that bother me There was always some kind of craziness going on in my neighborhood … It’s horrible, no matter who you are, to be physically attacked by someone, but I’m not letting it worry me. I know it was an isolated incident. It’s just a shame it happened at all. I’m now trying to put it in the past and get over it. I’m a positive person and I try to look at the good side of everything.”

Turns out Pamela Anderson isn’t the only star dating an electrician. British pop singer Leona Lewis has been getting loads of flack for staying with her boyfriend of seven years, Lou Al-Chamaa, also a master of all things electric. She’s pissed that everyone’s heckling her. “It does make me angry,” she said. “Because he’s a great person. And it doesn’t matter what you do in life, what your job is, where you come from. For people to think that you should leave someone because, all of a sudden, you’re a singer and you have opportunities. I feel very sorry for them.” Leona’s sparky (which is apparently slang for electrician) also happens to be hawt, which sweetens the deal. [People] Keep reading »
