Is there any reason not to love Kate Winslet? She’s gorgeous, clever, and charming, not to mention one of the most compelling actresses in movies today. Kate also saved Richard Branson’s mother from a fire, making her a veritable saint. Fans of the British actress will also know that she has been the face of Lancôme for quite some time now. Over the summer, the French beauty brand announced plans to team up with Winslet in creating a makeup line that would serve to raise money and awareness for Kate’s charity, the Golden Hat Foundation, whose mission is to help children with autism in communicating more effectively. Kate and Lancôme have created a beautiful collection that goes hand in hand with a beautiful cause. The name of the line is, appropriately, Golden Hat, and it features a blush palette, a red lipstick, and a red nail lacquer. The blush, otherwise a pale pink, features the foundation’s emblem (a golden hat!). These offerings look lovely and I really enjoy Kate’s personal touches on the packaging.
