I think my favorite thing about this promotional video for Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom’s unisex fragrance Unbreakable is the realization that they live in big enough of a house that Khloe calls Lamar on the phone when she wants him to come upstairs for “alone time.” But seriously, these two are adorable and I’m excited to get a whiff of Unbreakable so I can find out what a successful, committed relationship smells like.
Full disclosure: I love me some Khloe Kardashian Odom. I think she’s just the right mix of funny, smart, raunchy, and honest, and if she ever invited me over to her palace for cocktails and gossip on the condition that I change my name to Kinona, I would totally do it. That being said, the outfit Khloe wore to promote her and Lamar’s new perfume, “Unbreakable,” is, well, a little broken. I really have no idea what’s going on with those (painted?) jeans, and the two-tone leather jacket and strappy stiletto sandals aren’t helping. Khloe, I’m konfused. [Photo: Fame/Flynet]
Now we know the real reason Khloe Kardashian pulled the pin on “Khloe & Lamar.” She’s getting her own TV show! Yep – she’s going SOLO. She’s ditched her husband Lamar Odom and is going it alone in the big bad world of reality TV.
According to TMZ, Khloe is a wanted woman. E! doesn’t want one of their Kardashian kash kows getting away so they’re working on a starring vehicle for Khloe. That’s right – she’s getting her very own spin off. She won’t have to share precious screen time with her basketballer hubby and his ailing career. It will be Khloe, Khloe, Khloe. That’s the way the Kardashians like it – front row and center! Read more…
All you boys and girls who are on the hunt for a new fragrance—your quest ends here. Khloe Kardashian and her hubby Lamar Odom have created a unisex perfume, called Unbreakable, based on the scent of their love. No, it doesn’t smell like his NBA quality sweat or her nail glue and hairspray fumes. It smells like unisex chocolate. Duh! “It took a long time to create what we both wanted and would wear and love, and we found the perfect one,” says Khloe. “Someone just asked me, ‘What are you wearing?’ and I love that I can say, ‘It’s our fragrance!’” Valentine’s Day gifts, solved. “Men, most of the time our goal is to have what we want when it comes to women … Most men like more than one woman. A lot of them would not want to admit that because that might not be cool, right? Most people don’t want to get married. Being married, that’s a responsibility. I always used to tell that to women. I don’t want a girlfriend because that means I’ve got a responsibility. I have a responsibility to call you. I have a responsibility not to be with another woman. I have a responsibility to be there on time when you need me. With her I was like, If I do what I normally do, I’m going to lose her. And if I lose her, I think it’s going to hurt a lot. Right then and there I knew. We were together every day.”
— Lamar Odom in Playboy on how he knew Khloe Kardashian was the lady he wanted to commit to. This makes more sense to me than most explanations men have given in the past about why commitment is so difficult for them. I think perhaps men look at responsibility in a more black and white way than women do. Part of being a woman, for me, is being accustomed to juggling my responsibilities and knowing that they change and evolve as I do. I don’t see having another person in my life as a responsibility, I see it as a gift. And I don’t need to be threatened with losing someone to realize it. [Huffington Post] Keep reading »
”I feel like sooooo much has happened in just one year. My life has changed so much, and I as a person have changed even more. I have never been happier, never been so at peace, never been so in love. I am a better person because of Lamar. I laugh constantly! He brings so much laughter, happiness and fun to my life yet he also keeps me calm and grounded. I feel like I truly discovered myself the moment I met Lamar.”
