How many times do we have to say: “If it’s cold enough for a chimp fur-looking coat, then it’s too cold to go without pants.”? We’re rather disappointed that Lady Gaga wore this to the Much Music Video Awards. Hmm, her date to the event was Perez Hilton — maybe this is why he got beat up? [Toronto, 6/21/09] Keep reading »

Christina Aguilera isn’t the only one being inspired by Lady Gaga‘s platinum blunt cut bangs, and hyper sexy looks. The chicest magazine to end all chic magazines, Vogue Italia, is taking a page or two from her style book too. For their June issue, they’ve transformed high fashion model Sessilee Lopez into a Gaga-ette. The multi-page spread features Lopez complete with platinum blond hair, and tight, short, blingy looks. I’m loving what I´m seeing, but dressing Lopez in Swarovsky studded panties and a bustier, holding a tea cup, would have really driven the point home. Yes? Keep reading »
Guys who go on and on and on about lady-love are so annoying. They’re lesbians, dude—they’re NOT going to be into you. The latest annoyance? “Girl Gotta Girlfriend” by the rappers Mams Taylor, Snoop Dogg and Bobby Valentino (listen above!), about a man with a girlfriend who tries to bring home a second woman for the night. Aren’t these lyrics touching?
“My girlfriend kissing on her girlfriend / They getting real naughty/ My money is cool, but I’d rather have you and my girlfriend running around my crib naked.”
The lesbian blog AfterEllen.com flipped ‘em a big gay bird, saying:
“Lesbians: We are just here for your pleasure. Do you have money and some champagne and a hotel room? Just tell us where and when!”
Yawn, enough with songs by heterosexual dudes about how great it would be to bang two women at once. There’s plenty of songs out there about real girl/girl relationships by Ani DiFranco, t.A.T.u, Jill Sobule, Le Tigre and a bunch of others. And a few fun ones by Lady GaGa and Katy Perry. Go cuddle up with your gal pal and take a listen. Keep reading »
Are you sick of Lady GaGa? We aren’t! Yesterday, the Lady was on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to perform “Poker Face.” Not only was her intro interesting (she starts off sounding like Amy Winehouse and ends up playing the piano while standing on the bench in heels), but her outfit, once again, was exceptional. Her headgear looked like a solar system model, with Lady GaGa’s head as the sun. She paired that with a Britney Spears circa 2001 patchwork denim jumpsuit. Even if you’re not a fan of Lady GaGa’s, you can’t help but appreciate her elaborate costumes. Keep reading »
Rihanna and Lady Gaga have paired up for a new song: “Silly Boy,” Do you think the lyrics could be about any particular silly boy?
Cause you had a good girl
That’s a keeper
You had a good girl but
Didn’t know how to treat her
So silly boy get out my face
Why do you like the way regrets taste?
So silly boy get out my hair
No, I don’t want you no more
Listen to the full track after the jump … Keep reading »
Johnny Weir is making us go ga-ga. The three-time U.S. champion performed a number to Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” for South Korea’s “Festa On Ice” tourney and did the pop style icon justice in a black jumpsuit with a studded, asymmetrical patent harness and silver smashed metallic sleeves. Plus, he gives a dead sexy poker face. [via WOW] Keep reading »
“I am totally confident that I am an incredible artist and performer. I am extremely confident about my body, the way I dress, the way I want to look. But I have no confidence when it comes to men. Men are a disaster area for me. It’s so weird because I believe I am super sexy. I believe I am incredible, but I have absolutely no luck with boyfriends.”
Way back in the summer of 2007, Women’s Wear Daily profiled up-and-comer Lady Gaga, who was performing at Lollapalooza (check out these photos from her performance). Even then, the girl had a penchant for pants-lessness. She was cited for biking to a show in inappropriate hot pants, aka “not pants.” But other parts of Gaga’s look have undergone a transformation. In December, she told People that she wants her ensembles to be displayed in a museum. “My intention is to one day have the Lady Gaga exhibit at the [Museum of Modern Art]. Now I can have beautiful origami dresses made instead of gluing mirrors to a $3 bra from Conway.” My, how the Lady hath changed. Keep reading »
