Have you figured out by now that celebs are so in on the whole celebrity industrial complex? For instance, how could you even for a second believe that Krysten Ritter was just, like, out and about in this incredible green dress? Just, you know, heading to the CVS or getting some kombucha or whatever? She obviously wanted to get snapped by the paparazzi looking really fly. And it worked! She looks awesome, and she’s keeping her name and her TV show, “Don’t Trust The B— In Apt. 23,” in the news. Has anybody watched that show? How is it? I can’t get over the stupid name, but I hear Dawson Van Der Beek is on it playing himself, basically.
The trailer for “Vamps,” Amy Heckerling’s first movie with Alicia Silverstone since “Clueless,” is here — and it looks really funny. It stars Silverstone and Krysten Ritter as two vampires looking for love in all the wrong places. And the dude who plays Matthew Crawley on “Downton Abbey” plays Ritter’s love interest. I. Can’t. Wait!
Krysten Ritter always gets stuck playing the quirky friend in movies like “Confessions of a Shopaholic” and “She’s Out of My League,” and I guess it’s a great thing that now she’s got the lead role in this new series, “Don’t Trust the B— in Apartment 23.” But geez, could this show have a worse name/premise? Anyway, it’s a shame, because Krysten always struck me as pretty cool — like someone you’d be friends with in an alternate universe. And she’s got a great fashion sense, too. Like, take this Jenni Kayne maxi-dress she wore to the premiere of her new film “Life Happens.” (And check out the red shoes!) Cute, cool and super laid-back. Just like we imagine Krysten probably is.
