DIY: The Best Chanel Purse Knockoff Ever

Certain areas of NYC, like Canal Street and any street corner where a sheet can be unfurled and then snatched up quickly , are dedicated to selling knockoff designer wares. But there’s an even cheaper way to get a “designer” purse — all you need is a steady hand, a brown paper bag, a Sharpee, and a thin link chain. That’s how the above Chanel-inspired handbag was created. What makes this tongue-in-cheek knockoff even better is that the Double Cs logo isn’t perfect — so there, Karl Lagerfeld! “30 Rock” Is “Muppet Show” Knock-Off, Says Blogger

I’ve never watched an episode of “30 Rock,” but even I was a little intrigued by blogger Brian Lynch’s theory that Tina Fey’s sitcom is a rip-off of “The Muppet Show,” which I’ve actually watched and enjoyed. His evidence seems valid, but, you know, I’m no expert. Keep reading »

Project Runway’s Kenley Rips Off Alexander McQueen
