This is Kim Kardashian’s take on casual. The Vogue cover model took a break from her usual super-tight dresses/crop tops/skirts fashion routine while traipsing around New York City this week and I happen to think she should do so more often. This simple grey T paired with grey jeans, white pumps and a fitted double breasted blazer looks just as chic, in my opinion, as some of the finery she dons every other day of the week. Plus, if you care about such things, doing the monochromatic thing elongates the body and makes you look taller and slimmer, like a ruler or a pencil or a popsicle. Get the look after the jump!

When Naomi Campbell was asked what she thought of Kim and Kanye’s Vogue cover, she kept it kinda classy — and managed to get her point across loud and clear without saying anything at all. Watch her appearance on Australia’s “The Morning Show” and take a cue next time you have a not-so-friendly opinion on someone. [Huffington Post]
Kimye is not only always camera ready, they are always multi camera ready. There are three cameras at work in this photo of Kim, Kanye and North on the set of their Vogue cover shoot, y’all! Fair warning: stare at this photo too long and you become part of it and cannot get out. That might not be so bad though, as I’m kind of dying to pinch baby North’s aborable thigh chub. She is beyond.
Well fuck me. I have tried so so so hard to not like Kim and Kanye together, to not be sucked into the vortex of their bizarre yet totally sensical love. And then Vogue goes and puts the two of them on the cover, all bridal-ed out, Kanye inhaling Kim’s essence like his life depends on it, while she gives the camera that “Told you we’d wear you down, Anna Wintour” face. It’s Kimye’s world and we’re all just living in it and I accept that now. (I hear that’s even the subject of the 13th episode of “Cosmos,” by the way.) Check out a bizarre, surreal, impeccable video from the Vogue shoot after the jump. [Vogue] Keep reading »
Frivolous celeb selfies might actually do some good in the world, if Dallas Pets Alive (DPA) has anything to say about it. The nonprofit aims to make no-kill shelters the norm in Dallas, TX, and to find homes for rescue dogs. Their oh-so-brilliant marketing geniuses have gotten into the habit of #muttbombing, or reposting celebs’ selfies (and normal folks’ pictures too!) on their Instagram account with a shelter dog photoshopped in. So far, stars like Kim Kardashian, Jimmy Fallon, and Miley Cyrus have been featured, and their Instagrams are that much better for it. Besides being hilarious, the project is also effective — about half of the dogs featured in the first few days of the campaign have been adopted. I’m rooting for a “Real Housewives” #muttbomb next!
