Yesterday, I told you that Britney Spears recently confessed that making “Chaotic,” her reality show with her then-husband Kevin Federline, was her “worst career decision.” On one hand, I see what Britney means. After years of being beloved by the tabloids, especially as one-half of a super couple with fellow pop star Justin Timberlake, Britney was already being scrutinized for her relationship with Federline and for showing the cracks in what had been a rather pristine image. Suddenly she was wearing trucker hats and eating Flamin’ Hot Cheetos in public with her trashy boyfriend! The scandal!
“Chaotic” further pulled back the curtain on what was, I think, the real Britney — a burping country girl who became the most famous pop star in the world who couldn’t stand to fake perfection for a second longer. After “Chaotic,” of course, things spiraled out of control — after a brief period of happiness with Federline, which produced two sons, Britney had a mental breakdown that she has yet to fully bounce back from. In that sense, “Chaotic” was a bad career move because it showed to the world what Britney’s handlers were desperate to keep hidden. But honestly, I loved “Chaotic.” I think it shows Britney at her most authentic, before the push and pull between who she is and what was expected of her became too much to bear. This Britney I love. Funny, sweet, weird and spontaneous, “Chaotic” covers a period of Britney’s life when she was in the midst of messily seeking freedom. And did I mention that the show was epically GIF-able? Just in case the holidays had you thinking your family was the craziest to ever grace the planet, here’s Britney Spears’ former in-laws to the rescue: In what Radar is calling “bombshell court papers,” the brother of Kevin Federline (Spears’ ex-husband No. 2, for those keeping track at home) claims that he fathered the pop star’s first son, Sean Preston. If that’s not far enough out in Crazyland, Christopher Federline also is seeking a restraining order against Spears, alleging that she stole from him, blackmailed him, and harassed him. “She is out-of-control and a maniac,” he says in the papers, as first reported by the National Enquirer. If it’s a day ending in “y,” that means there is more trouble for Brit-Brit. Ex-bodyguard Fernando Flores filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against the pop tart yesterday. Even though we knew some of the accusations previously — she walked around the house naked; she asked for his belt to spank her kids — now he is spilling all the beans. And they’re some dirty, dirty beans. Keep reading »
Recent “Celebrity Fit Club: Boot Camp” contestant Kevin Federline finally shared how he gained a person shortly after his divorce from Britney Spears, “I drank 12 to 24 cans of soda a day — not Diet. I didn’t drink water, that was all I drank. That was my coffee, that was my candy, that was my everything. I hit 30 years old, I stopped dancing, started eating and sitting on the couch playing with the kids here and there. I got lazier and lazier, and fatter and fatter.” [Now Magazine]
I’m so sick of hearing how little celebrities eat and as someone who occasionally eats an entire pizza alone, it seemed about time to see how celebrities binge! Keep reading »
So we know Kevin Federline needs to slim down, but it appears that he also need to clean up. He is a serious slob according to his former landlords. Gosh … I’m shocked, aren’t you? The owners of his former Tarzana, California home are demanding that K-Fed pay $110,661 in back rent and damages. His alleged transgressions? Aside from skipping out on six months rent, he left behind cigarette butts, empties, spit marks on the exterior paint (huh?), drawings on the walls, dead trees and plants, broken tiles, appliances and light covers. Oh, and he is even accused of stealing the garage door opener. Charming. [Daily News]
After the jump, some more notorious celebrity slobs. Keep reading »
