The Crazy Kelly Bensimon Diet

This must be your ultra lucky week, because not only did Kelly Bensimon tweet yesterday that she’d soon be making an exercise video, the crazy-but-trim star of “The Real Housewives of New York City” just released a home video detailing her daily diet too! She explains she eats next to nothing six days a week and then binges on the seventh day (just like the gospel says to do! Er, wait … ). New drinking game: every time Kelly says “very” or “really,” take a shot. Drink an entire Corona every time she says “nightmares.” [via Huffington Post] Keep reading »

“The Real Housewives Of New York City” Reunion: Watch Alex Take On Jill

Alex McCord was by far my favorite NYC housewife this year because she finally stopped holding in her anger and let people know exactly what she thought of them. The main target on the receiving end of Alex’s wrath was a very deserving Jill Zarin. We had a little hint of Alex calling Jill out during the season, but even I could feel Alex’s frustration at Jill’s annoying and defensive arguing. On the reunion tonight at 9 p.m., though, it seems Alex has practiced exactly what she wants to say to the hawker of fabrics and gossip. Check out the video above for a little taste of their word battle and peep Bethenny Frankel reaming Kelly Bensimon after the jump. And is it just me or does it look as if another Kelly personality is about to come out when the clip ends? Keep reading »

Kelly Bensimon Makes Homemade PSA About “Systematic Bullying”

Is today “Crazy Real Housewives Day”? It might as well be. On the heels of Danielle Staub actin’ a fool at a charity event and Sonja Morgan getting arrested for a DWI, Kelly Bensimon has released a homemade PSA. About what, you ask? Mental illness? No. “Systemic Bullying,” which she claims she was the victim of at the hands of some of the other woman on “The Real Housewives of New York City.” Because nothing says totally sane and rational like a PSA made on a Flip-Cam. Count me among the “bullies” — this chick needs a straight jacket. [People] Keep reading »

Quotable: Kelly Bensimon Says She’s Not Crazy

“It was a nervous breakthrough. I learned don’t do it. Don’t be around people who don’t like you. I will never engage them like that ever again. I learned my lesson, as should everyone. It was four people against one. I go on this trip, I’m trying to be open. I have no expectations. I’m trying to be nice to these women who clearly don’t like me. But the minute I got on the trip, they went after me. It was constant. It’s an awkward position. Normally you’d be like, ‘I’m not dealing with this… I’m leaving. But this is not a situation where you can leave. You have to stay and you have to police them otherwise then you’re not a part of what’s going on and then they go off. This is me being a Housewife on a television show. This is not me in my real life.”

Kelly Bensimon talks with with People about her crazy behavior on last week’s episode of “The Real Housewives of New York City,” during which she and her costars vacationed on a yacht. Yeah … Kelly Bensimon: still crazy in my book, if for no other reason than agreeing to appear on a show that turns her life so topsy turvy and makes her such a nervous wreck. But let’s face it: that’s the least of her craziness. [People] Keep reading »

Is Kelly Bensimon Crazy?

Whether or not Kelly Bensimon is crazy seemed to be the main subject of last night’s catfight-tastic episode of the “The Real Housewives of New York City.” All the women — well, except for Jill and LuAnn — got trapped together hopping around the Virgin Islands, landing at some crazy castle resort, where either something in the food, the water, or the weather — OK, maybe it was the company — made Kelly go coo-coo. Or did it? Keep reading »

Hoot, There It Is: Columbia’s Awesome Student-Run Fashion Mag

Several of us on the Frisky staff were newspaper dorks back in college (like this is surprising), so we hold a fondness in our heart for school papers. Oh how the times, they are a changin’: Columbia students just put out the debut issue of a publication called Hoot, a glossy fashion journal that puts our inky campus crime blotter clips to shame. For starters, they’ve got Kelly Bensimon on the cover, which might seem like a weird celeb pick for Ivy Leaguers but, when coupled with the rest of the edgy reporting, shows how inclusive Hoot‘s viewpoint is. Some other goodies: an article about fashion for Orthodox Jewish girls, a profile on North Korean denim line Noko (which we wrote about, as well), and a message from Teen Vogue editor-in-chief Amy Astley. Check out the entire issue on Hoot‘s website.

We just have one question—can we work there, too? [Hoot Magazine via BlackBook] Keep reading »
