LOVE magazine is one of our favorites. It’s kind of a fashion magazine for the rest of us. Founded by Katie Grand in 2008, LOVE dared to put unlikely fashion icons like Beth Ditto and transgender model Lea T on its cover. With its fresh fashion perspective , we imagine that the mag’s parties are a really good time. And judging from the pics from Wednesday night’s LOVE Hangover ball, we’re correct.
Hark! Please stop what you’re doing and pay attention to this important celebrity diet news! An anonymous source told Now magazine that Kelly Osbourne is staying thin by eating food that is a different color than her plate. The technique theorizes that eating meals off a plate with a similar color may cause a person to eat up to 20 percent more. “Five months after Kelly started the plan the results are there for all to see. She thinks it’s amazing — she takes her plates everywhere. Unlike other fads, Kelly says this diet does help you lose weight and keep it off,” said the source.
OK. That’s all. You can go back to whatever you’re doing. I just got a kick out of the idea of Kelly Osbourne carrying around a variety of brightly-colored plates at all times. We can go back to talking about her $250,000 manicure, now. [Digital Spy]
But of course she’s not, though, because this “apology” is her way of telling the world that she rocked a quarter-of-a-million-dollar f-cking nail polish color to Sunday’s Emmys, if you didn’t already hear. And why would she go ahead and tell us this? Well duh. Because no one noticed—LAST WEEK—to begin with. Why endure the extravagance of a $250k manicure if you can’t brag about it to the world? I mean, honestly. ‘Til today (or maybe yesterday, when Kelly announced that she was sorry on Twitter), did you even know that Kelly’s manicure was anything more than a regular old OPI-looking sparkly black? Because I didn’t, and it was. Word on the street is that Kelly’s manicure was actually $250k worth of black diamonds, which worked out to be just about 5 carats. See her tweets here…
Nail art has been around for a long while, but only in the past year or so has it evolved from something you were more likely to see on your cool artsy friend into a ubiquitous trend spotted on everyone from Zooey Deschanel to Beyoncé. The $50 Minx manicure made popular by Katy Perry is more than we’d generally be willing to spend on something so temporary (and, um, tiny), but on the off chance you have $250,000 you’re looking to be really careless with, and you’ve already ruled out eating it, snorting things with it, and donating to the poor (!), why not make like Kelly Osbourne at the Emmys and cash in on the Azature black diamond manicure? (Yes, the same one that drove Winona to pack up her things and take off for Jupiter. We’ll never forgive you for that, Azature.) What, like that’s not a completely reasonable and responsible way to spend your money? Keep reading »
I’m not the biggest Kelly Osbourne fan (because I watch “Fashion Police” and she annoys me), but how cute is this photo of her with brother Jack and his newborn daughter Pearl? It’s especially touching, as Jack was just diagnosed with MS. It’s nice to see these two are still so close.
When a female celebrity offers a makeup-free photo to the public of her own accord, thereby putting herself on the same level as us mere mortals, she’s usually lauded for her alleged bravery and commitment to disproving the smoke and mirrors of Hollywood perfection. AnnaLynne McCord hopped on the sans fards freight not so long ago, and she was met with commendation and praise for showing off her blemished normal-girl skin. It’s a strange phenomenon, but non-famous women love to see seemingly flawless celebrities looking, well, non-famous.
So I wonder why everyone, from bonafide bloggers to your average backseat critic, is losing their cool about this Instagram photo Kelly Osbourne tweeted of herself before bed, calling the picture of the celeb daughter and Fashion Police pundit everything from “scary” to just plain “unflattering.” Keep reading »
Kelly Osbourne was spotted with new man Matthew Mosshart on her arm. The chef and brother of The Kills singer Alison Mosshart looks very familiar to me. Hmmmm. Could that be because he is the spitting image of Ozzy Osbourne circa the Black Sabbath days? Yes! That’s it! I knew I wasn’t being paranoid. This guy looks an awful lot like her dad. Which is just the slightest bit creepy or sweet … depending on how you look at it. Kelly wouldn’t be the first celeb to date someone who had a strong family resemblance. “Having to tell my parents my ex-fiancé Luke [Worrall] had cheated on me with a tranny was so humiliating. Everyone kept telling me that Luke was cheating on me, but I never believed them. It’s hard enough to get your head around someone cheating on you… but when when someone is a chick with a dick? I’d always thought the worst way to get cheated on would be with an ugly girl.”
– Kelly Osbourne is really quickly working her way up my STFU List. Look, getting cheated on blows. I’ve been there and I sympathize. But Kelly specifying that being cheated on with a “tranny” – that would be transgender model Elle Schneider — was especially humiliating bugs the hell out of me. I get that finding out the guy you were going to marry had sex with “a chick with a dick” (her extremely offensive terminology, not mine) would be confusing and shocking. But more humiliating? Worse than being cheated on “with an ugly girl”? (The horror!!!!) Gee, Kelly, why don’t you tell us how you really feel about the transgender community? And about so-called “ugly” girls while you’re at it? Sorry, but I’m starting to think Luke cheated on Kelly because she sucks. [Glamour UK via The Sun]
