Katy Perry is no stranger to Crayola-colored hair, having long eschewed her natural blonde (!) for every which shade of the Manic Panic rainbow, but this is the first time we’ve seen the songstress looking so … fiery! The September cover of French fashion mag L’Officiel casts Katy in a warmer, more romantic light, offsetting the shock of copper hair with a pretty peach dress and subtle rosy makeup (I seriously hope she swapped numbers with the makeup artist from this shoot). It’s a solid departure from her usual over-the-top all-the-makeup-at-once fare, but would it be wrong for me to suggest that Katy looks really good channeling a touch of Florence Welch, orange hair and all?
