Frisky Q & A: Songstress Kate Nash Talks Love, OCD, And Bunny Rabbits

If you are reading this and “Foundations” isn’t running through your head right now, you have problems. Kate Nash burst onto the music scene in 2007 with her album Made of Bricks, giving a whimsical alternative to other British songbirds like Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen. Three years and one mental breakdown later, she is back with a new album, My Best Friend Is You, that has a serious retro vibe while letting her scream at the top of her lungs. Kate Nash’s Insights

This week, the enormously talented Brit Kate Nash finally released her album, Made of Bricks in the U.S. Her songs tell funny stories about boyfriends, dressing to impress, and annoying, slutty girls. We especially enjoy the song “We Get On,” which details a particularly rough Saturday that includes going to a party, getting drunk, and crying in the bathroom. Below, some of Kate’s wisdom…
