Up until this very moment, culottes made me frown. Oh okay, sure, fashion industry, just try to convince me that below-the-knee, super wide-leg short pants are a good look. YOU’RE WASTING YOUR BREATH. And they were, but lucky for them, Kate Hudson swooped in wearing a pair that I initially mistook for a midi skirt and loved so when I discovered that there are indeed to separate leg holes, I was like, “GAME, SET, MATCH, CULOTTES. YOU WIN.” In order to pull these off, you really have to do what Kate is doing, pair them with with a fitted top and, most important, sky high heels, otherwise you’ll look stumpy as hell. Kate Hudson just joined Instagram, and just like everything else Kate seems to put out into the world, her first post is sunny and flawless. It practically screams “I woke up like this, and my carefully fitted crop top was something I just pulled from the bottom of my closet.” Or something like that. I can’t wait for her to post more of her “effortless” life and provide the rest of us with some high-quality escapism. [Refinery 29] [Image via Instagram]
“Our whole family danced our butts off to ['I Want Your Sex'] in the living room. No idea what it meant! We just knew it made us move.”
Kate Hudson shared the “soundtrack of her life” in this month’s InStyle, and the song she cited as the defining jam of her childhood was none other than the kid-friendly George Michael hit, “I Want Your Sex.” The image of Kurt, Goldie and the kids rocking out and singing along to lyrics like, “What’s your definition of dirty, baby?” is cracking me up. Ah, the ignorant bliss of being 8 years-old. [InStyle]
Kate Hudson, quit it, you’re killing me. The actress has been wearing the cutest outfits lately — did she get a new stylist? Even if you’re not ready to go down the crop top road — I talk a big game, but I have yet to actually wear one — this outfit would be just as cute with a full-length tank tucked into the high-waisted skirt, not to mention hot on women of any size. I also love the minimalism of the neutral palette — very chic. Details below! Keep reading »
I’ve seen a lot of jersey jumpsuits recently, but despite the guaranteed promise of comfort, they always look so dumpy on the hanger. It wasn’t until seeing this photo of Kate Hudson that I realized they can actually look quite chic and feminine on, especially paired with dainty jewelry and a fitted denim jacket. Pile on a little more jewelry and add heels and you can wear it out to dinner. Surprisingly versatile, no? Get the look down below… Keep reading »

The Hudson-Bellamy family arrived at LAX yesterday, and mama Kate was wearing a pair of seriously acid washed skinny jeans that, for whatever reason, I actually really like. Is it because she paired them with thoroughly modern black pumps and a simple white tank top? Or is it because I’m blinded by baby Bingham’s cute little face? Probably the latter, but whatever, I’m digging this look. [Photo: Splash News]
If I were in a strange celebrity-obsessed kindergarten class and the teacher was like, “Alright class, Kate Hudson’s dress: love it or leave it? Please raise your hand quietly to share your opinion,” I would have been the terrible child who just blurts out “I LOVE IT!!!!!” before anyone had a chance to raise their hands. And that says a lot about how much I love this outfit, because I was the #1 rule-following teacher’s pet in kindergarten and viewed all the blurt-out-the-answer kids with extreme disdain. So now you know my thoughts on this sparkly, billowy gown. What are yours?
Kate Hudson showed up for an appearance on the “Late Show with David Letterman” in a leather pencil skirt with a hot pink top, and left the studio in a leather micro mini and hot pink pumps. As a lover of Kate Hudson, the color pink, ’80s fashion, and black leather, I am completely obsessed with both looks. Which outfit do you prefer? Left Kate or Right Kate? [Photos: Fame/Flynet]
