I wasn’t so interested in watching the first episode of Jay Leno’s new prime-time show last night, until I heard that Kanye West
was appearing, to talk about the Taylor Swift Debacle of 2009
. And I gotta say, after a lame apology on his website yesterday, Kanye seemed really sincere, at least partly because Jay took a pot shot and asked Kanye what his mom would say. After a long pause, and maybe a moment of almost crying, Kanye said, “I deal with hurt. So many celebrities, they never take the time off and I’ve never the taken the time off—it’s music after music and tour after tour. And I’m just ashamed that my hurt caused someone else’s hurt. I don’t try to justify it, because I was in the wrong. But I need to, after this, take some time off and analyze how I’m gonna make it through the rest of my life.”
Then this morning, Taylor Swift appeared on “The View.” See her after the jump. Keep reading »
The MTV Video Music Awards were on for less than 30 minutes when … CONTROVERSY. The first category of the night was “Best Female Video,” and Taylor Swift
won for “You Belong With Me” over Beyonce
‘s “Single Ladies” and Lady Gaga
‘s “Poker Face.” Taylor started giving her “I’m just a country singer” acceptance speech, when Kanye West
entered from stage left. He grabbed the mic out of Taylor’s hands and said, “I congratulate you Taylor, but I gotta say … Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time.” Keep reading »
I am a proud non-reader of books. I like to get information from doing stuff like actually talking to people and living real life.

Hot on the heels of his sneaker design collaboration with Nike, Kanye West has debuted another one with Louis Vuitton. The collection, simply called, er, Kanye West for Louis Vuitton, features five distinct sneakers which range in colors from solid red to pastel shades. West mixed the usual suspects when it comes to sneaker materials like leather uppers and cotton laces with felt trimming. And while they might look like your standard sneaker, the signature Louis Vuitton logo on the soles and tongues let you know that these are luxury kicks. So does the price! The shoes, available at Louis Vuitton stores, cost between $840 and $1140 depending on the style. If your guy, really, really, really wanted these, would you buy them for him? It’s a recession, so I’m thinking I’d download the picture and frame it nicely for him instead. Keep reading »
Our new obsession, Drake just dropped his new music video for “Best I Ever Had,” directed by Kanye West. After the initial “Degrassi” disabled basketball star flashbacks, I have to admit I just a bit peeved at the bra-less basketball team’s gratuitous bouncing…don’t they know that working out sans sports bra hurts the little sisters? Drake made up for it when he said, “Sweat pants, hair tied, chilling with no makeup on, that’s when you’re the prettiest, I hope that you don take it wrong” and then again (kinda) when you find out his coaching skills were limited to teaching the beauties how to stretch and he essentially admits to being a total perve who just wants to love. What do you guys think, adorable or abominable? Keep reading »
Dating a rapper can sure do wonders for your career. Case in point: Amber Rose. The blonde bombshell, who has been cavorting across multiple continents with Kanye West, has just been signed to Ford Models. Not a bad deal, considering Ford is the world’s top agency, with legendary clients like Chanel Iman, Ashley Tisdale, and Bar Rafaeli. [All That's Fab] Keep reading »
The blogosphere is still debating over whether or not Kanye West and Amber Rose are really broken up or if they’re secretly still shopping and sexing each other. I, on the other hand, am more interested in knowing if they were ever that close to begin with. Walking around like the remix to Prince and Apollonia is cute and all, but I think everyone is forgetting one important fun fact: Amber seems to really really like women…Read more

Rihanna stars in Kanye West’s video for “Paranoid.” Why is she appearing in a music video for a song she doesn’t even sing on? We have a few ideas:
- Kanye is ditching Amber Rose for Rihanna.
- Kanye thought it would help Rihanna’s image by giving her some exposure unrelated to Chris Brown.
- Rihanna wanted to procrastinate on putting out a new album even longer and is doing whatever she can to fill her day.
- Rihanna had a lot of ’80s-style clothes in her closet and thought it was high time they got put to use.
- Rihanna wanted to showcase the moves she’s learned in dance class. If this is the case, keep working on them, girl.
