Justin Bieber looks like he’s starring in an ad for Cover Girl cosmetics on the cover of Brazil’s Toda Teen Star magazine. I need to know the secret to those full, luscious lashes ASAP. Keep reading »
Teenage heartthrob and alleged assaulter Justin Bieber has a new project in the works: perfume. Bieber’s unisex fragrance, “My World,” will be infused into wristbands and dog tags in a new patented resin technology designed to hold the scent for over a year. The scent, which will be launched at Walmart for Black Friday, is, according to Bieber, not “too young, too fruity.” And of course the 16-year-old entertainer has his eyes on the horizon. Next up? A possible sneaker collab. [WWD] Keep reading »
Canadian actor Gordon Pinsent does an interpretive reading of Justin Bieber‘s supposedly-not-a-memoir, First Step 2 Forever: My Story. Yes, Justin, it may technically be a picture book. But it’s also a dramatic retelling of your life story, so far. So we’re gonna call a spade a spade, and we’re thrilled that you’ve joined the ranks of young stars to pen memoirs. More please, more. Maybe Justin Bieber really does have an alter ego. For the second time in a month, the Biebs has been accused of doing something very contrary to his bubblegum-and-puppies public persona. This time, Justin is being investigated for assaulting a 12-year-old during a laser tag game on Friday night. Shawty Mane, say it ain’t so! Keep reading »
Like Frank Sinatra and Miles Davis before him, Justin Bieber is co-branding with a line of nail polishes. The Biebs lent his name to a new line of Nicole nail polishes that will be exclusively available at Walmart beginning in December, and in stores like Target and Ulta after that. The polishes include reds, purples, blues and glittery shades and are titled after classic Bieber songs, like “Step 2 the Beat of My Heart” (pictured above) and “One Less Lonely Girl” (but it’s called One Less Lonely Glitter). Damn, when I was a hormonal Hanson fan they never did anything like this! Someone out there in Corporate America believes tween girls will buy anything Bieber-related … and the sad thing is, they’re probably right. [NYMag.com] Keep reading »
Tweenage girls, stop reading unless you want to have a heart attack. It appears that Justin Bieber may have a girlfriend, 16-year-old singer Jasmine Villegas. She happens to be opening for the Bieb on the My World 2.0 tour, and the two were photographed kissing in the backseat of a car at the end of September. Now Life & Style is reporting that, when he heard that Jasmine hadn’t been booked to play his October shows in Hawaii because of budget cuts, Justin offered to pay her way himself. A source says, “Justin is paying out of his own pocket to have his new sweetheart join him. He’s footing the entire bill.” [The Hollywood Gossip, Life & Style]

No, you are not on “Candid Camera.” But it appears that MTV’s “Punk’d” is in fact coming back. Sources say the “classic” series is getting a reboot. And while Ashton Kutcher will be returning as executive producer, he is rumored to be handing the hosting reins to … Justin Bieber. Yes, that was the sound of every tweenage girl on the planet squealing in unison.

Have no fear, Justin Bieber action figures are here. These new dolls of the Bieb will be available at Target and Walmart in early December—the one on the right plays 30-second snippets of “Baby” and “One Less Lonely Girl,” while the one on the left is from the “JB Style Collection” and just has nice duds. Is it just me, or do these dolls seem a little off? First of all, the hair is not nearly swooshy enough. And the figurines look way older than 16. I think it’s the manly thick neck that’s to blame.
