Cameron Diaz Is Spreading A Ton Of Viruses

Can you believe it? The “Jersey Shore” boys are not the celebs responsible for spreading the most viruses. That distinction actually goes to Cameron Diaz, Julia Roberts and Jessica Biel.

We are talking about computer viruses, of course. Keep reading »

Why Does Everyone Hate Julia Roberts?

Years ago, I had a friend who was an entertainment writer in Los Angeles. At one point, Julia Roberts was promoting whatever newly released blockbuster she was starring in, and my friend went to go interview her. At the time, she was still mostly considered to be America’s sweetheart. In the hotel meeting room, a half dozen journalists, including my friend, sat down at the table to interview her.

“Well, what was she like?” I asked him afterwards.

“A snake,” he replied. Keep reading »

Quotable: Julia Roberts Has No Use For Botox

“It’s unfortunate that we live in such a panicked, dysmorphic society where women don’t even give themselves a chance to see what they’ll look like as older persons. I want to have some idea of what I’ll look like before I start cleaning the slates. I want my kids to know when I’m pissed, when I’m happy, and when I’m confounded. Your face tells a story… and it shouldn’t be a story about your drive to the doctor’s office.”

Julia Roberts, “Eat, Pray, Love” actress and “practicing Hindu,” on Botox and plastic surgery in the new issue of Elle. There’s also this really sweet quote about having three children with her husband, Danny Moder. She says: “The children became the shooting stars of him, of that thing we have. How lucky we are that we love each other so much that we burst into three pieces.” I’m sorry, I can’t help but “aww” at that. [Elle via Huffington Post] Keep reading »

With the high concentration of d-bags in Hollywood, few would have suspected Mel Gibson would be to whom we attribute the quote “You should just smile and blow me because I deserve it!” Mel’s foul, sexist language to describe his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva and his racist, rape-y declarations shocked all of us. But it turns out Mel might have left some clues to how he views women. Piper Weiss at Yahoo Shine has examined 10 years of Mel Gibson’s on-set pranks and there are some disturbing trends: he likes to terrify and/or humiliate his female co-stars and directors. Quotable: Julia Roberts Maintains Her “Fighting Weight”

“I’ve always been a friend of food. I probably put on about seven pounds in Rome when we were shooting. I ate a lot of pizzas in Naples. It was just great. But it was hard on take 10 on a giant plate of pasta … That is a strange thing that happens. People get wildly famous and they get incredibly slim. I don’t know. It never happened to me. I look the same. I guess that is my staying power. My fighting weight.”
