September 23rd is a big birthday for three new Tinseltown tots. Ellen Pompeo, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Jude Law’s baby mama, Samantha Burke, all popped out little girls today. Burke reportedly named her daughter Sophia, Gellar and husband Freddie Prinze Jr. named their daughter Charlotte Grace, and Pompeo and husband Chris Ivery named their little one Stella Luna. Now, which one will go on to date Sparrow James Midnight Madden?
UPDATE: You know, sometimes a gal gets so excited about babies being born that she doesn’t actually pay close attention to the details. All three babies had their births announced on Sept. 23rd, but were not actually born on those days. Sophia was born the night of 9/22, Charlotte Grace was born last Saturday, 9/19, and Stella Luna was born on 9/15. My bad. Keep reading »
Personally, I’m pretty excited about Guy Ritchie
‘s upcoming “Sherlock Holmes” flick, starring Roberty Downey Jr.
and Jude Law
. From the preview, it looks pretty intense and I’m into the ninja thing that Sherlock has going on. But I became even more intrigued when Robert Downey Jr., said in an interview this week that in the movie, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson are gay lovers. Downey Jr., who plays Sherlock, said that he and Dr. Watson (aka Jude) are “…two men who happen to be roommates, wrestle a lot and share a bed. It’s bad-ass.” [Metro UK

My Dearest Jude Law,
It was only a few years ago that I was pining after your sexy European bod. You were smart, sly, and so appealing. But now, that sultry smile that once got me all hot and bothered now looks more like a pervy grin. And you kinda just seem like a douchey losertron. You may be trying to win me back by playing Watson in “Sherlock Holmes,” but to tell you the truth, you may have fallen so far from grace that it’s just not possible. You’re like the male Lindsay Lohan.
After the jump, a look at Jude’s short Up and very long Down. Keep reading »
And the winner is … Samantha Burke! The media didn’t really see this coming yesterday. When it was announced that Jude Law had fathered a fourth child and the mother was seven-months pregnant, everyone backtracked to last December when Law was filming “Sherlock Holmes” opposite Rachel McAdams. Reportedly, McAdam’s sister, Kayleen is pregnant and the puzzle pieces seemed to fit together perfectly. Makeup artist Kayleen wasn’t working on the “Sherlock Holmes” set, but was supposedly introduced to Jude and the two allegedly hooked up. But alas she is no longer in the running to be his next baby mama.
So who is this woman who’s carrying the next Spawn of Jude Law? Keep reading »
There is a new fashion movie coming out on September 24th. It is called “RAGE.” It looks full-on ridiculous. With the aid of many colored backdrops and pseudo-deep statements from interviewees at the scene, a blogger working in a New York fashion house records the events surrounding a murder. Starring the likes of a tranny-fied Jude Law, model Lily Cole (still attempting to act!), Judi Dench being generally awesome, and Steve Buscemi making you feel skeevy, the thing is jam-packed with celebrities you never wanted to see together in one movie. Check out the trailer above and what we loved about it, after the jump… Keep reading »
Action packed and star studded, even the trailer sells a new concept for an old hero. Guy Ritchie promised a new take on “Sherlock Holmes,” and he delivers by casting Robert Downey Jr. as Holmes, Rachel McAdams as bad girl Irene Adler, and Jude Law as sidekick Watson. Yes, you heard right, Jude Law is playing bumbling sidekick Watson. Wouldn’t he have been a better fit for the brooding and mysterious crime solver? Whatever, he’s definitely still got our attention. “Sherlock Holmes” makeover is revealed in previews that show him in shirtless boxing matches and handcuffed to a bed naked, but the whole cast insists this is deeply rooted in the original description of the character. If this sounds just a little too heavy for you, the good news is that “Borat” and “Bruno”‘s Sasha Baron Cohen is in talks to star in a comedic version of “Sherlock Holmes” alongside Will Ferrell. These two haven’t been paired up since “Talledega Nights,” but we all remember how that turned out! Guess we’ll just have to wait and see which couple is going to make the best crime fighting duo. Trailer, after the jump… [Sherlock Holmes Movie] Keep reading »
Terry Gilliam is an out there director—he’s the one behind “12 Monkeys” and “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.” His newest flick, “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus,” premiered at Cannes on Friday. Heath Ledger was originally the star, and filming was about halfway done when…well, you know. Gilliam decided to rework the role so that Heath shares it with Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell, and Jude Law. Hello, hot back-ups!
“Imaginarium” involves a deal with a devil, which allows people to go through a magical mirror and explore their imaginations. Uh, strange? Obviously, we wish it could have been Heath the whole way through, but we figured we’d take a look at the three megastars who filled in at the last minute. And while it’s tempting to just throw all three of these guys in the “shag” column and walk away, here’s how we’d divide ‘em up… Keep reading »
Sneaking around on your spouse is all the rage in Hollywood. Just this weekend, Angelina Jolie, openly admitted she and Brad Pitt fell in love while he was still very married to Jennifer Aniston. Ouch! But she wasn’t the only one messing around in tinsel town. Téa Leoni has allegedly been messing around on David Duchovny with Angelina’s ex, Billy Bob Thornton? Oh, the incestuous web celebrities weave! Alas, in Hollywood, cheating the camera isn’t just an acting technique, but off-screen it can get a whole lot trickier. More, after the jump…
