On the set of the his new movie “Uncertainty,” Joseph Gordon-Levitt sparked an impromptu am session on set, showing off his guitar picking and singing skills during his rendition of “La Bamba.” The video of this awesomeness was just brought to my attention. So yeah, Ryan Gosling, how are you going to take things up a notch?

This week has been a great one for my fantasy boyfriends Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Ryan Gosling and thus it’s been a great week for me too. Let’s get to the big news:

• Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be hosting “Saturday Night Live” for the first time on Nov. 21. By the looks of this video he posted on his blog, he is super duper amped about it. Me too, JGL, me too!
• Ryan Gosling has just been cast in the movie, “The Wettest Country in the World,” which is just soooo appropriately named given the state of my you-know-what whenever I see his handsome face.

The only that would make both of these pieces of news even better is if Ryan got tapped to host “SNL” the week after JGL and JGL was cast in “The Wettest Country in the World” (replacing that douche, Shia LaBeouf, Ryan’s current co-star). Make it happen, universe!

So my boyfriend—Joseph Gordon-Levitt, not to be confused with my other boyfriend, Ryan Gosling—has made a new movie, and it looks awesome! “Uncertainty” is about a couple who leave some major decision—what, we don’t know—up to the flip of a coin, and the film looks at the two scenarios that could unfold. It’s kind of like “Sliding Doors” with some shoot-‘em-up thriller action thrown in for excitement. Now, what am I going to wear to the premiere?

I’m off next week for a much needed vacation—Costa Rica! Surfing! Yoga! Beer!—leaving The Frisky in the very capable hands of your regular bloggers. Consider this video my parting gift. There’s a dance sequence in ”(500) Days Of Summer,” in which Joseph Gordon-Levitt is so high on life that he dances through the streets of L.A., but Zooey Deschanel‘s own sweet moves were absent. On his website, hitRECord.org, Joe posted this video and wrote:

I mean, it really felt a bit wrong—Zooey’s born for musical numbers, and the one day she wasn’t on set, we go and shoot a musical number? The wrong had to be righted. So when it came time to start promoting the movie, we had the idea to kill two birds with one stone…. It’s a work of art in its own right. And to me, it seems like so much more effective an endorsement of the movie than any interview or fashion shoot…. Plus it was about as purely fun a day on a set as I’ve ever had. Hope you like it!

I like it so much, I am overlooking the fact that JGL still hasn’t responded to my Twitter date invite.

This weekend I watched “60 Seconds with Joseph Gordon-Levitt” on Cinemax On Demand (watch it, after the jump) and learned something great—his Twitter handle. In fairness, a simple Google search would have given me the same info, but I like to think the TV was giving me a sign. A sign that I should ask him out on a date via the awesome power of Twitter. Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon Levitt, stars of the upcoming ZOMG-I-cannot-wait-to-see-it movie “500 Days Of Summer,” filmed a mash up of a scene from their movie with the incredibly, uh, compelling love story of “Sid & Nancy.” Only Zooey plays Sid Vicious, and Joseph plays Nancy Spungen. Awesomeness. (A few NSFW language issues—they bleep out the f-word, but keep s**t. Just so you’re forewarned.)

So, this is my favorite movie: “500 Days Of Summer.” I haven’t actually seen it yet, but the trailer is above, and honestly if it doesn’t turn out to be my favorite movie, I will be super surprised.
