How do I love “Community”? Let me count the ways. There’s Abed and Troy’s Inspector Spacetime hijinks, Jeff Winger’s sassy bon mots, and Annie’s pervasive neuroses. Britta’s awful “therapizing” and Chang’s scheming. “Community” is one of the best-written, funniest shows that nobody watches, and after a terribly long hiatus, it’s back, Thursday February 7. and we will definitely be watching — especially if it involves ridiculously outlandish popcorn pranks like this.
I’ve always been a fan of the show “Community,” starring dreamy Joel Mchale and a cast of other talented comedians. But after watching their series of season four bloopers, I definitely want to hang out with them. Their set looks like so much fun! (Though it might actually not be, given the feud between “Community” creator Dan Harmon and Chevy Chase. Harmon was fired as a result.) So I’m hereby publicly offering myself as an additional member of the gang. I can’t rap like Alison Brie, but I’m hoping they can find a spot for me on their team. [YouTube]
It’s sometimes hard to discern Joel McHale from his “Community” character, Jeff Winger. Both Jeff and Joel — the latter in this “viral” commercial for Nintendo 3DS — are smart, snarky know-it-alls. And both Jeff and Joel are so funny that we’d watch them do their taxes and probably get a laugh out of it. This morning Joel McHale visited with Kathie Lee and Hoda in order to promote a brand new episode of “Community” (on tonight at 8 p.m. EST!). He managed to force Hoda to drink a special Guinness and orange juice cocktail. Delicioso!

Maybe you’ve heard about how one of TV’s funniest shows, NBC’s “Community,” has been shelved for the remainder of the fall season, put on hiatus indefinitely because of poor ratings. Cast members and fans of the show are worried that the mid-season yank may mean the show is never coming back, and are rallying like never before to throw their support behind Joel McHale, Chevy Chase and the rest of the crew attending Greendale Community College.
