When actor Jeremy London—Griffin on “Party of Five,” not his twin brother Jason who played Randall in “Dazed and Confused”—claimed over the summer that he had been kidnapped for five hours and “forced to smoke dope,” we thought it seemed kind of suspect. Especially when Jeremy, who has had addiction issues in the past, claimed that his kidnappers said, “Hit this! Hit this or I’m gonna kill you!” But it looks like Jeremy might have been telling the truth. Brandon Adams has plead guilty to charges of false imprisonment and unlawfully taking London’s car. Which sounds a little different to me than saying, “I kidnapped this guy and made him do drugs,” but shows that there was a lot of truth to Jeremy’s story. Keep reading »

I know you guys have barely been able to sleep since we told you in early June that “Celebrity Rehab 4” was on indefinite hold because the producers were having a tough time finding big name addicts willing to have their withdrawal symptoms and teary group-therapy sessions aired on primetime TV. But—never fear!—the situation has been resolved. The show has two new participants. One of them is a big duh—Jeremy London, who basically wrote “Hey Dr. Drew, cast me!” across his forehead in permanent marker with the whole I-was-kidnapped-and-forced-to-smoke-dope story.
The second new person on the show is a little bit of a surprise—Rachel Uchitel, i.e. first woman to be accused of boning Tiger Woods. Apparently, she’s seeking treatment for a prescription pill addiction. What kind, Rachel, what kind?!?! [PopEater] Keep reading »
Brandon Adams, 26, is currently in in jail with his bail set at $500,000. He’s been accused of kidnapping actor Jeremy London at gunpoint and holding him for 12 hours, forcing him to buy beer and to smoke a pipe. Adams has given his interview about the incident to Radar. “I have six kids, a wife, and another kid on the way,” he said. “I have a lot to lose. He’s not telling the truth about what happened.”
Here’s how Adams’ narration of the night’s events go… Keep reading »
Wow. The more we hear about Jeremy London’s alleged kidnapping, the stranger and stranger the whole thing seems. Here’s what we’ve learned since the initial report: everything went down when Jeremy and his on-again-off-again wife, Melissa London, decided to go for a (romantic?) dinner at Jack in the Box. When they came out, they had a flat tire. Two dudes helped them change it, and then asked for a ride home. Jeremy obliged, but dropped Melissa off first because she felt uncomfortable. That’s when things supposedly got crazy. After Melissa got out of the car, one of the men allegedly pulled out a gun and held it to Jeremy’s head. They supposedly robbed him of an envelope full of cash, and forced him to drive around for 12 hours, threatening to find his three-year-old son, Lyrik, if he didn’t comply. They made him buy alcohol and drop it off with other friends. At one point, they tried to force Jeremy into the trunk, but he talked them out of it. Jeremy claims they did, however, force him to smoke an unidentified drug, screaming, ““Hit this! Hit this or I’m gonna kill you!” Eventually, the men had him drive to one of their sisters’ houses, who helped Jeremy escape. Near the end of the ordeal, the kidnappers supposedly said, “We were just kidding with you.”
Nearly everyone, including us, thought this story sounded highly suspect at first—like Jeremy’s way of explaining away drug use since he’s required to submit to testing to get back custody of his son. So now Melissa has come forward to back up Jeremy’s story. Keep reading »
In April, Jeremy London—who played Griffin on “Party of Five” (not to be mixed up with his twin brother, Jason London of “Dazed and Confused” fame)—sat down with People to talk about his battle with prescription pill addiction. He lost his wife and custody of his son because it got so bad, until he went to rehab last summer. He’s been clean since.
But today comes a bizarre story. Last Thursday night, Jeremy was kidnapped for five hours. Jeremy says that he was changing his tire when he was robbed at gunpoint. Keep reading »
