J.Lo Goes Feral

No offense, Jennifer Lopez, but I wouldn’t be caught dead watching “The Back-up Plan.” (I don’t think I bought a ticket for “Maid In Manhattan”, either.) However, I could feast my eyes on this catty Monique Lhuillier gown all day. Rawr, and stuff. [Miami, 4/14/10] Keep reading »

Quotable: Jennifer Lopez Says Gays Know How To Party

“It’s the best audience ever. You guys enjoy the music, you get into it, and you’re not afraid to let go and express yourself. That’s what I want from an audience. I recently did a show where the crowd was just standing there, staring at me with their camera phones up, YouTubing me or whatever the heck they do now. I was like, ‘This is crazy! I need vibe!’ I’d so much rather have you guys jumping up and down, waving your arms in the air.”

Jennifer Lopez explains to The Advocate the difference between performing for a predominantly straight audience and a gay one. But I’d like to suggest that the “straight” crowd was only trying to get footage of J.Lo’s most recent fall. [Starpulse] Keep reading »

Pick Yer Artificial Insemination Movie, Here …

As weird as it may sound, pregnancy is so hot right now. Ever since the arrival of “Knocked Up” and “Juno” in 2007, we just cannot seem to get enough fertility-themed entertainment. Whether it be the adolescent slant of “16 and Pregnant” and “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” or the scary stories of “I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant,” the big guy’s little gifts are popping up everywhere. This spring/summer movie season is no different. There are two upcoming pregnancy comedies—”The Switch” and “The Back-up Plan”—with a bizarre twist. These new films are practically twins! Both these films take on the story of a single woman becoming pregnant by artificial insemination. But the likeness doesn’t end there. Both films take place in New York, include a love interest who isn’t the donor, feature pregnancy parties, and star a Jennifer (Aniston for “Switch” and Lopez for “Plan”). I don’t know about you, but I don’t think I can handle seeing both these movies in such close succession. For that reason, I am breaking them down and pulling out the good genes and the bad, so you can decide which conception comedy you’d rather see, if either. Keep reading »

What Is J. Lo Smuggling In Her Hip?

Jennifer Lopez Nails Rihanna On “SNL”

Jennifer Lopez hosted and performed on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend and as you might expect of the totally meh singer/actress, the episode was only so-so. However, the opening skit, which spoofed the catastrophe known as “We Are The World 25″ (which was filled with “half famous randoms”) was hilarrrrrious and J.Lo herself did a pretty dead-on impression of Rihanna. (As was Kristin Wiig’s Gwen Stefani.) Check it out above. Keep reading »

Jennifer Lopez Wins Most Awkwardly Timed “SNL” Gig Award

Am I alone in thinking it’s hilarious that the same week she’s dropped by her label, Jennifer Lopez is the host and musical guest on “Saturday Night Live”? No? Thought so. Keep reading »

Can A “How I Met Your Mother” Cameo Turn Jennifer Lopez’s Career Around?

This year, Jennifer Lopez will be spending more time on the small screen than she did when she was a dancer for “In Living Color.” In addition to being in talks to play a cafeteria worker on “Glee,” Lopez is currently shooting a guest-starring role on “How I Met Your Mother.” She’s playing Anita Appleby, a self-help guru who teaches women to trick men into relationships. When Robin tells her about Barney’s exploits, she makes it her mission to “break him.” Neil Patrick Harris, who plays Barney, posted a pic of him with J.Lo on his Twitter account. “Jennifer Lopez was really great— hot, cool, and funny,” he said. “And well prepared! She gave me a few pointers. Here’s one of them.” Ba-dum, ching. [Hollywood Reporter, Twitter]

So why the television blitz? Jennifer hasn’t had a memorable role or album lately, and meanwhile rumors continue to swirl that there’s trouble in her Marc Antony paradise. And let’s just say that doing a cameo on “HIMYM” has a certain way of putting a person back on the pop culture map. Let’s take a look, shall we?

A J.Lo-Diddy Sex Tape? Plus More Dirty Revelations In Court …

Jennifer Lopez is still in court, battling with her ex-husband, Ojani Noa, who’s trying to release a sex tape of the couple. This week, Sean “Diddy” Combs has been called in as a witness … to talk about the alleged sex tape he made with Jenny from the Block. Noa also plans on putting J.Lo on the stand, to question her about her sexuality since she allegedly kissed a woman in the video before performing lap dances. Noa’s goal is to prove that the video shouldn’t be classified as a sex tape since no nudity or sex is involved and he believes that Diddy’s response to what his alleged sex tape involves will cement the defense. We get it, Ojani—you slept with J. Lo. What do you want? A high-five? [NY Post]

It’s a shame that celebrities can’t get any privacy, but it’s sometimes interesting to catch glimpses of their sex lives through awkward court proceedings. After the jump are a few cases of sex secrets being revealed in court. Keep reading »

Would You Believe That Posh And J.Lo Wear The Same Size?

It seems kind of unlikely that celebs would engage in clothes-sharing, but if they did, we wouldn’t think to match up rail-thin Victoria Beckham and the curvy Jennifer Lopez as closet buddies. But, claims Beckham, she and J. Lo wear the same size. She discovered this while trying on a dress from her own line, which apparently was the same piece of clothing Jennifer Lopez had worn to an event earlier. Surprised? So was Victoria, who said, “Who’d have thought I’d be the same size as Jennifer Lopez!”

Do you believe this, and find that a woman’s proportions can often be deceiving in determining her size? Or is this a not-so-subtle attempt on Posh’s part to dispel any eating disorder rumors? [New York Daily News]
