Halle Berry and Jennifer Garner really worked tirelessly to get this anti-paparazzi bill approved, and it’s actually one of the best moves they’ve ever made. With this new law, any paparazzo accused of harassing a kid will be able to get fined up to $30,000 and also go to jail for up to a year. It will also be possible for the parents of these children to seek civil liability, which means that celebrities who have paparazzi following them and their children can easily have these paparazzi arrested.
Halle even released a statement after the bill was passed, saying, “I am forever in awe of the support I got within my community from the enormously talented musician Adele to fellow actor, Jennifer Garner, who traveled with me to Sacramento to share her children’s stories, experience, and her desire to give them a better life.” Read more at Celeb Dirty Laundry…
I have very specific neon associations, related to the rise and demise of electroclash music in the early aughts. (Don’t pretend like you weren’t also all up in the club in pointy hot pink kitten heels. I saw you!) So I still tend to shy away from neons — I can’t deal with the Ladytron flashbacks. Howevs, neon has been all over the place lately, as evidenced by the many celebs spotted proudly wearing bright, bold neon tones. Here we have (from left to right) Jennifer Garner, Paula Patton, Hilary Duff, and Reese Witherspoon, all adding a bit of electric brightness to their wardrobes. But who wore it best?
Jennifer Garner can hold her own in the glam department for red carpet appearances, but photos of her running errands in sneakers, jeans, and sweatshirts affirm the fact that in her day-to-day life, JG is a casual gal. This recent outfit caught my eye because it’s casual and comfy but also looks put together — I love how she traded in her sneaks for oxford flats and added a chic green bag into the mix. I found all the pieces you’ll need to steal Jen’s style (in plus sizes!). Read on for shopping details… Keep reading »
One of the most normal and happy families in Hollywood at least seems to be Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner and their three kids, Violet, Seraphina and Samuel. Maybe that’s because the family keeps their home base in Boston and only lives in Tinseltown when one of them is working. Regardless, Ben and Jennifer seems to be awesome and involved parents who keep their kds out of the limelight and give them as regular a life as possible. I couldn’t stop clicking through these photos of the couple watching their doppelganger daughters (Violet is the spitting image of Jennifer, while Seraphina looks just like Ben) practice iceskating. From what I can tell, Violet is already better on the ice than I ever was! Click through to see more pics of the family being just ridiculously sweet together. [Photos: Fame/Flynet]
I’m fairly meh on both of them as movie stars, but damn, do Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck make adorable kids. [Photos: Fame/Flynet]
Jennifer Garner is one of those actresses that I love inexplicably insofar as I have literally never seen any film or TV show she has ever been in. (In my defense, I am easily bored and I feel like Jennifer Garner might actually be a little boring, not that there is anything wrong with that.) Given that all I really know of her is that she’s pretty, has adorable children, and seems very sweet, I like Jennifer on that basis. The other day, however, I came upon the trailer for “The Odd Life of Timothy Green” while watching “Hollywood Exes” (no shame), and I know it’s a children’s movie and all but I got a little bit of eye water. Is that so wrong? Well, I’ll be seeing it. You don’t have to come. Keep reading »
It can be tough to find meaty, interesting roles for women in Hollywood, which is why WIGS — tagline: “where it gets interesting” — is such a breath of fresh air. The YouTube channel created by Jon Avnet and Rodrigo Garcia has enlisted a bunch of mega talented actresses to star in a bunch of short films and/or web series, each telling the story of a strong, compelling woman. Filmmakers involved include Ami Mann, Lesli Linka Glatter, Marta Kauffman, Amy Lippman and Betty Thomas. So who are some of these women who have starred or are starring on WIGS? Let’s find out… [YouTube: WIGS]
