It’s safe to say that we, and really the entire world, is kind of obsessed with Jennifer Lawrence right now. I didn’t even really like “Silver Linings Playbook,” but I was still pretty stoked that she won the Oscar for her performance. Maybe that’s because Jen seems like such a nice, normal, funny, unscripted young woman, who has seemingly handled her sudden launch to prominence with humor and class and humility. It’s pretty hard not to root for her. Girl didn’t even really flinch when she felt climbing the stairs to get her Oscar — I bet she falls all the time and doesn’t care who sees.

Anyway, Jen — since she is basically America’s BFF, I feel comfortable calling her that — has this incredibly beautiful, smooth, symmetrical face when it’s still … and then she has this fantastic ability to contort it into the most entertaining facial expressions. Yup, this is just about how I’d imagine such an encounter would go. Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence was doing an interview with ABC last night when the vaguely lecherous (but in a cute-ish way?) Jack Nicholson interrupted to compliment her on her performance in “Silver Linings Playbook.” Jennifer is naturally a bit starstruck at having Jack introduce himself to her, but that didn’t stop her from remarking, “Do I look like your new girlfriend?” Oh yeah, he’ll be waiting. PRICELESS.

I was going to try and pick out one or two quotes from this clip of Jennifer Lawrence doing post-Oscars interviews, but it was pretty impossible to choose just one thing. Aside from being gorgeous and talented and all over amazing, J. Law happens to also be extremely thoughtful and funny. After discussing the stigma around mental health vis a vis her movie “Silver Linings Playbook,” Lawrence admitted that she’d done a shot backstage and made fun of herself for falling while trying to collect her awards. This clip confirms that she is probably the most hilarious person to hang out with in Hollywood, by a mile. [Yahoo]

The 85th Academy Awards are this Sunday, and some of our favorite actresses have been nominated to take home the gold. We couldn’t be more proud of their career achievements… but we also want to know, what are they going to wear? Or more accurately, we want them to know what we think they should wear. Got that? We can’t count on Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Lawrence, Naomi Watts, Amy Adams, and Anne Hathaway heeding our attempts at styling, but there’s no harm in trying.
