Rupert Everett Thinks Hollywood Is Sexist And Homophobic

“I never got a job there, and I never got a job here, after [coming out] … I did a couple of films, I was very lucky at the beginning of my career … and then, I never had another job here for 10 years, probably, and I moved to Europe … I think show business is ideally suited for heterosexuals, it’s a very heterosexual business, it’s run mostly by heterosexual men, and there’s a kind of pecking order. I think the position of women is a pretty difficult one in show business. If you look at the idea of a drunk women in show business on the skids at the age of 50, and a drunken man in show business on the skids, the drunken man gets an awful amount of support, and the women is a slut.”

It’s funny, because I kind of expected her to be amazing. I would have been more surprised if she hadn’t been the great, down-to-earth girl that she is.”

Weird Converter: A Glorious New Way To Waste Time

Ever wonder just how many Jennifer Anistons you could fit in a keg of beer? Of course you do! According to the Weird Converter, Jen is equal to roughly a keg and a half of your favorite brew. The Weird Converter allows you to compare and convert utterly unrelated things based on height, weight and length. It can tell you the number of Tom Cruises that would fit into a blue whale (1,750), or how many human stomachs would fit in a dump truck (226), or how many Shaquille O’Neals would line up in a mile (745). So yes, it’s incredibly useful and highly addictive. [Weird Converter] Keep reading »

Jennifer Aniston Analyzes Courteney Cox On “Cougar Town”

On Wednesday night, Jennifer Aniston appeared on “Cougar Town.” Unlike her guest-starring role on “Dirt,” there were no lesbian kisses here. This time JenAn played Courteney Cox‘s new age-y, wacked-out, honeysuckle-peddling therapist. But she does kiss her dog. Keep reading »

Quotable: Josh Hopkins Says He And Jennifer Aniston Are Just Friends

“No, no, we’re just friends—just friends having dinner. There’s a lot of friends I’d less rather go to dinner with. Well I’m a southern gentleman, so I had to [pay]. There are worse people to be in a rumor with.”

John Mayer Slams Huffington Post For Shoddy Reporting

HuffPo, John Mayer is putting you on blast! The prolific Twitter junkie and master of the guitar solo O-face has taken to his blog to slam the blog Huffington Post for printing a story that he calls “equal parts fabricated, cobbled together and misleading.” The story in question: “John Mayer & Jennifer Aniston BACK TOGETHER?” The HuffPo article contends that Mayer and Aniston might be back together based on some comments Mayer made at a recent concert. The problem, Mayer writes, is that Huffington Post took bits and pieces of various things he said over the course of an entire show and made it appear as if it was one statement. Keep reading »

Jennifer Aniston Will Go Topless, Smoke Pot & Have A Threesome In Upcoming Apatow Comedy

After her latest film, “The Switch,” bombed at the box office, Jennifer Aniston has finally decided to switch things up. Well, sorta. According to Hollywood Life, the actress has signed on for the next Judd Apatow comedy, “Wanderlust,” and will be playing Paul Rudd’s “chain-smoking” wife who “sleeps around” and even goes “topless” at one point in the movie. Way to diversify, Jen! Her box office money-making average might finally raise given that A) Apatow’s movies typically do very well, B) Paul Rudd is a kick-ass co-star, and C) Aniston will be playing a character that seemingly has a little more edge than her usual roles. The latter worked well for her in indie movies like “The Good Girl” and “Friends With Money,” so while this is a comedy, I personally have high hopes that this could be just the vehicle Aniston needs to justify her big-screen salary.

Check out Hollywood Life’s exclusive spoilers about the movie — including why you’ll get to see Aniston’s ta-tas — after the jump … Keep reading »

Audiences Do Not Want To Pay To Watch Jennifer Aniston On The Big Screen

It needs to be said: Jennifer Aniston literally cannot carry a movie. Her latest, “The Switch,” bombed in its opening weekend, making only $8.1 million at the box office. This is significantly less than the opening weekend numbers for “The Bounty Hunter,” that horrifyingly bad movie she made with Gerard Butler, which was panned by critics and hated by audiences. That movie made over $20 million in its first three days and was considered a big ol’ failure. Aniston’s other recent films have done piss poor too: “Love Happens” made only $8 million its first weekend, while “Management” did less than $400,000. “He’s Just Not That Into You” was Aniston’s last big money maker, but she was only one player in an ensemble; “The Break-Up” was the last movie headlined by Aniston (alongside Vince Vaughn) to be considered a true success, making $39.2 million its opening weekend.
