Most girls want to be just like their big sisters, right? Well, that can be hard when your big sis is big time. Miley Cyrus’ little sister, Noah, is only nine, but she’s already showing signs of becoming a mini-Miley. Exhibit A: her YouTube series “Noie and Em.” Exhibit B: the fact that she goes by Noie, which sounds an awful lot like Miley. Exhibit C: the other day, Noie was photographed on the red carpet wearing a pink Juicy Couture dress, way too much mascara, and pounding a Red Bull. Supposedly, Noie has her sights set on Disney, like someone we know. “I love my sister Miley,” she said. “When I grow up I want to be just like her.” Right, because Miley is so grown up herself.

Teenage pregnancy is trendier than metrosexual manscaping.  From celebs like Jamie Lynn Spears to preggers Bristol Palin, the 17-year-old daughter of the Republican VP hopeful, baby bumps on babies are popping up in the most conspicuous places. In the current climate where children are exposed to sexuality through pop culture, Planned Parenthood is more needed than ever.  Yet despite their efforts, they’ve come under fire from conservative groups for their recent campaign, Take Care Down There.  We posted some love for these cheeky PSA’s back in April when the site launched, but after a cross-country summer tour, the safe-sex advocates have been getting crap for their sense of humor.  Planned Parenthood has said they are trying to appeal to their young audience through relatable slang and situations without confusing their messages with fear mongering and scientific lingo.  However, conservative groups are claiming Planned Parenthood isn’t taking the situation seriously by supporting safe-sex and masturbation via comedy sketches that the abstinence-only supported find hokey. But petty arguments aside, with one in four teenage girls already infected with an STD and teen pregnancy on the rise for the first time in almost 15 years, something has got to be done…besides all those teenagers. We could never figure out why Jamie Lynn Spears didn’t just go on birth control when she decided to start having sex. Yes, it’s totally possible that she was on the pill and didn’t take as directed—eight out of 100 women will get pregnant each year if they don’t follow the instructions—but a survey by the Crisis Pregnancy Agency in Ireland found that first sex among adolescents was linked to low use of contraception (and high levels of regret). The hot new fashion trend this spring is having your own clothing line. Paris Hilton, Jessica Alba, Sienna Miller, Jessica Simpson, Hilary Duff, and all the girls from The Hills do. And now, Britney Spears may be adding her name to the long list of celebs whose mediocre clothes we could care less about.  That’s right, after sporting avant-garde looks like bloodstained white panties with ripped fishnets and no pants this past January, the pop tart has caught the eye of Ed Hardy. Known for their tattoo-style skull and tiger t-shirts, it looks like Ed Hardy may be willing to put an even scarier icon in their repertoire, the Britney. Yesterday she met with their fashion mogul about designing for the brand. Although she can’t seem to make a court appearance, Spears is always available to pick up some free schwag.  But, to be fair, Brit didn’t just horde all the stuff for herself, she asked them to send some clothes to her pregnant sister, Jamie Lynn, who is celebrating her birthday today. Aw, what a thoughtful big sis. So hopefully, this is a sign Britney is back on the road to recovery, because her freakish public mess is so out this season. [Dlisted]
