Back in February, we got our panties in a bunch over the making of a new movie called Milk. Based on the swinging ’70s life of San Francisco gay activist and politician Harvey Milk, the biopic stars Sean Penn, James Franco, Josh Brolin, and Diego Luna. Needless to say, we can’t wait to see this film, which is practically guaranteed to be an Oscar contender. Sigh, we’ll have to wait for the film to be released on December 5. But today, they threw us a cookie crumb to go with that Milk in the form of the movie’s trailer. We promise you at least one shirtless stud. Both the sexy stars and the dramatic storyline about the fight for basic human rights have got us all fired up!

Pineapple Express, the latest comedy from writer/producer Judd Apatow (Knocked Up, 40 Year Old Virgin), opened over the weekend. While the reviews considered it a heist caper, to us, it was a bromantic comedy featuring James Franco, Seth Rogan, and Danny McBride. Foxy Franco was briefly, but satisfyingly, shirtless, and readily able to express his bro-on-bro love to his buddies. Seth Rogan, on the other hand, never stops being adorable. He spends the film in a suit and then saves the day wearing nothing but tighty-whities and striped knee socks to the knee. Fresh meat Danny McBride is the new funny man making the rounds in Hollywood. You can catch more of him in action next in Tropic Thunder, which opens this weekend. But forget the fight sequences and car chases in this flick, as these three gentlemen espoused fart jokes, we swooned. Keep reading »
We just can’t get enough of James Franco! And surprisingly enough, we want the recent Daily Hotness stud for more than just his body — we actually love the James Dean look-a-like for his mind too. Sure his smarts and self-depreciating humor are like icing on a cake (umm, a delicious, super talented cake filled with good looks and and big screen street cred), but we’ve been loving the short films that Franco made with his brother on Funny or Die. In the above web-isode, produced by Pinapple Express‘ Judd Apatow, James teaches his brother Dave to cry on camera by drawing on a memory of his first pet, a cat who was put to sleep. And check out just how great his genes are in this response tape by his equally adorable and hilarious mom. Keep reading »
Some of you may remember James Franco from his breakthrough role on Freaks and Geeks, but I didn’t watch that show. Instead, I first noticed his brooding eyes and killer smile in Spider-Man, in which he played Harry Osborn. This summer he’s ditching his super villain persona to play a stoner in Pineapple Express, which comes out August 6. Even with long, greasy Bill & Ted hair he’s still hot, and I’d definitely spark a doobie with him, you know, if it was legal. Keep reading »
Our prayers have been answered! The City of Angels is sending us another homoerotic love story. The film, a biopic of influential San Franciscan gay activist and politician Harvey Milk, will feature two straight men: James Dean look alike James Franco and the steamy, newly-single Sean Penn. Those two together sound tastier than dim sum in Chinatown! Although no sex shots from the movie have made their way onto the Internet yet, (Boo! Where are my homo hackers at?) there is evidence of romance in these pics up on Towleroad.com. But really, even in clothing, these two men make us grateful for all the good things they’re doing for gay rights….and our libidos. [Check out an awesome vintage AP image of Harvey Milk, after the jump...] Keep reading »
