Get a load of this new “comedy music video” from some guy named DJ Lubel. It features a cornucopia of has-beens and never-weres, singing a rather mysogynist and racist song about how the women of Los Angeles never put out. It’s really, really charming. I mean, the video starts off with a guy telling his friends that he once got laid by “telling the bitch I was Chris Brown,” and then it goes downhill — yes, downhill — from there.

We were a little too excited earlier this month when Cee Lo Green premiered his amazing video for “Cry Baby” and it starred Jaleel White, aka Steve Urkel from “Family Matters.” And Jaleel is doing the right thing by capitalizing on his moment. He has apparently signed on to star in the season premiere of “House.” His role is perhaps the polar opposite of what he’s known for—he will be playing an inmate in prison alongside Hugh Laurie. Well, at least he’s not a patient with a terminal disease? [Zap2It]

I am absolutely obsessed with his new video for “Cry Baby,” from the ’50s styling to the amazing guest stars—Jaleel White, aka Steve Urkel, and a girl who looks suspiciously like Laura Winslow. Wow, Jaleel has some pretty hot dance moves and looks kind of sexy in a pair of white plaid pants with Converse. Side note: I really want to know who Cee Lo is singing to here. We were all packed up and ready to go to New York and my agent had told my parents that they needed to start looking for places to live out there. Next thing you know, there was one more audition and that was supposed to be a formality at the network. And a little girl comes walking in, and I’m like—even at eight years old—’Who’s she?’ And they’re like, ‘She’s auditioning for Rudy, too.’ So I’m like, ‘Oh, it’s not as much of a formality as I thought.’ That was my first time walking into a room of 30 people staring at you going, ‘O.K., make me laugh.’ They were in such a hurry to get to New York and start filming that they came out and picked the kids one by one right in front of all of us. Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Tempest Bledsoe … The rest of us all went home crying. It was amazing. Obviously I’m grateful that things worked out the way they did; I think it put a little more money in my pocket. … Let’s get something straight: all of these rejections resulted in me making a s**tload of money elsewhere.”
— Let’s revisit 1995 for a second and let this piece of information blow my mind: Steve Urkel almost wasn’t Steve Urkel! Jaleel White told Oh No They Didn’t! Vanity Fair he was thisclose to playing Rudy Huxtable on “The Cosby Show,” until Bill Cosby cast a little girl for the role instead. It doesn’t sound like the “Family Matters” geek has any hard feelings.

Former actor Darius McCrary, who played Eddie Winslow on “Family Matters,” was recently served with a restraining order. The legal action was the result of abuse accusations by his ex-wife Karrine Steffans. Steffans claims that McCrary beat her with a belt in front of her son and that this was not the first time he has harmed her. Currently, Darius is not allowed within a 100-feet of his wife, and she is looking to make the restraining order permanent with upcoming court appearances. [Huffington Post]

No, not Steve Urkel, too! “Family Matters” star Jaleel White has been accused of physically abusing his child’s mother in some very un-Urkel-like behavior. The woman claims two weeks ago, White allegedly punched her in her breasts while they were driving on a highway with their infant in the car. When they arrived home, she claims White slapped her and pushed her into the toilet so hard it broke the tank.
Urkel’s publicist issued the standard denial that all publicists for celebs accused of domestic violence can issue in their sleep: “There was absolutely no battery … no abuse … and the incident never happened. This is just a ploy in an ongoing custody battle over their young daughter to tarnish his name.” We certainly hope this report is untrue. What would Harriette and Carl think of this?
