“In a way, I think it made it easier—going through the journey of not only making ['Brokeback Mounatin'] but then the response of the audiences brought us all very close. That’s a very tight-knit group that remains so to this day. But ['Love and Other Drugs' director] Ed [Zwick] took it to another level here. We worked for 8 days on ‘Brokeback Mountain’ and this was months. Beyond that, it’s our love story in this movie. … Sometimes there’s just chemistry between people. The interwebs are abuzz with the promise of a new potential celebrity couple: Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal. Swift brought Gyllenhaal to see her bestie, Emma Stone, tape “Saturday Night Live” this weekend. “They showed up together,” a source told People. “They walked around together backstage, but they were careful not to be seen too close.” The next morning, they were seen getting brunch with another pair at Al Di La, a restaurant in Park Slope, Brooklyn (where Maggie Gyllenhaal lives).
