Jaden Smith is little more than a super-rich child actor with a famous family who has enough money and foolhardiness to encourage others to drop out of school once and for all so they can be just like him (i.e. all but incapable of differentiating “there” and “they’re”). But is he also Amanda Bynes? Not for anything — Amanda has been diagnosed mentally ill, which is clearly no laughing matter — but Jaden has been seriously biting Amanda’s Twitter flair while she’s in treatment. Same enthusiasm, same spotty frequency, same self-possession, same syntax, same loose grasp on the English language, same weird sense of ubiquity … it’s uncanny. Contrast and compare, and I’ll let you draw your own natural conclusion: Keep reading »
“School Is The Tool To Brainwash The Youth,” claimed Jaden Smith, 15-year-old child actor and Scientolo-spawn, during an unsubstantiated Twitter semi-tirade over the weekend. The irony! Unfortunately, Jaden failed to clarify whether or not the late New Village Leadership Academy, founded by Will and Jada Pinkett Smith on the basis of a curriculum developed by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, fell under this umbrella of baseless general opinion. The school shuttered earlier this year, reportedly due to fallout once parents discovered that they were paying $23,000 a year for their spoiled Hollywood kids to be, well, brainwashed. Perhaps Leah Remini could clear this one up for us? A more comprehensive take on Jaden’s wi$dom… Keep reading »
Will and Jaden Smith appeared on Thai TV show “The Woody Show” to promote their new film, “After Earth.” You can watch the full segment here, but let me give you the big highlight. The host asks Will, “Have you ever kissed your son on Thai television before?” Will replies, “I can kiss my son.” Then he grabs Jaden and kisses him on the mouth. There appeared to have been tongue involved.
Jaden responded to the kissing incident saying, “[That] happens all the time.” I say, to each family their own.

“My style of parenting is very similar to that of my parents, minus the concept of ownership. I think that, specifically in African American households, the idea coming out of slavery, there’s a concept of your children being property and that was a major part that Jada and I released with our kids. We respect our children the way we would respect any other person. Things like cleaning up their room. You would never tell a full-grown adult to clean their room, so we don’t tell our kids to clean their rooms. We tell our kids ‘you don’t have a room, that’s our room and we are letting you borrow it.’ So the same way you would say to an adult if you let them use your car, you say, ‘Yo man, clean my car! Don’t drive around all filthy like that!’ And it’s perfectly reasonable for you to want an adult to clean your car, so we feel it’s perfectly reasonable to ask our kids to clean the rooms that we are letting them use.”
– I never would have thought the Fresh Prince of Bel Air and I would agree on much, but it turns out that Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith actually have some cool ideas about parenting. I’ve always loved their POV on Willow’s hair that it belongs to Willow and they wants their daughter to understand she controls her own body. Will echoed sentiments like these, too, saying that they don’t believe in treating their kids like “property” they own. I happen to agree! [US Weekly] [Photo: Getty]
Kid’s only 14 years old, and is already a total scoundrel! Or do we just chalk this up to hormones? Jaden Smith has barely hit puberty but has mastered the art of two-timing and manipulating. We reported that he and Kylie Jenner were caught on a date at Nobu in London, but new details are coming out—chiefly that he pulled a sister switch, and his parents are furious!
“Jaden Smith has quit courting 17-year-old Kendall Jenner and has been spotted on cozy dates on two continents with her little sister,” reported National Enquirer, print edition March 18, 2013. Read more …
“I was at the White House with my family and we were getting a tour. Barack and Michelle and Sasha and Malia and me and Jada and the kids, we’re walking through the White House. The night before, Jaden had said to me, ‘Dad, I gotta ask the president about the aliens.’ And I said, ‘Dude, no. No, it’s not cool. It’s not cool, it’s embarrassing.’ I was, like, ‘Jaden, DO NOT ask the president.’”
Will Smith is completely endearing on BBC Radio 1 describing a visit to the White House with his family. Which I guess is a perk of being a movie star?
