I love a good lazy-girl Halloween costume. This super-cute iPod dress from Instructables.com is so easy that even I can handle it. All you need is a tube dress, iron on sheet transfers, a printer and an iron. You can download the iPod dress’ images straight from the Instructables site (which features lots of other DIY Halloween costumes as well). Grab the nearest fella in a black turtleneck, tell everyone he is Steve Jobs and – presto! You’ve got yourselves a couples costume. [Instructables.com]
Don’t let your iPod steal the show. Instead, let your headphones take center stage with these ridiculously adorable ear buds from Fred Flare. Take your pick from tiny ladybugs, strawberries, or cupcakes, bling them out with some flashy jewels, or, go quirky with sushi roll charms and rubber duckies. Switch ‘em up as your mood changes—just like jewelry!
Lady funbags have gotten even more fun! We’ve told you about the mannequin MP3 player, but now, thanks to tit men, the volume has been turned up on ta-tas. A new portable pillow has been made in the shape of an ample bosom. These plush double D’s also contain speakers that hook up to your iPod, television, computer, or any other noise maker with a headphone jack. The tit and tunes combo could get any man into the groove or, as their slogan says, “Sink back into our generous domes of sound.” At roughly $25 bucks a pair, they are definitely the cheapest fake boobies out there. My ex and I shared the same iTunes library and while in some ways it has served me well — so much Led Zeppelin! — it has also caused much, much embarrassment. You know how you can set your IM status message to show what song you’re listening to? Well, it is really no fun when someone out of the blue pings me and says, in a patronizing tone, “Why on earth are you listening to Shinedown?!” That’s why I’m taking the next 29 days to reorganize my iTunes, deleting the music I absolutely DO NOT want representing my taste on IM, creating playlists, and downloading new songs that I can’t wait to listen to on the way to work. I suggest you do the same and while you’re at it, add a bunch of rock star approved tracks by checking out our Get Your Rocks Off playlists from bands like Girl Talk and The Postelles, and singers like Rhett Miller and Craig David.

This year is definitely looking up for Beverly Hills, 90210 fans. First, The CW network is bringing back the famous zip code with new drama and characters, but some of our old favorites are set to make cameos as well. And then, to our delight, Apple has released a limited edition iPod Nano 8GB that has custom laser etching with official Beverly Hills, 90210 artwork and each iPod in this 2,000 limited edition series is numbered. You can personalize it with your name or some other self-expression. We can’t think of a better way to catch up on Beverly Hills, 90210 and the new 90210 when it starts September 2. My dog is always chewing up my ear buds, so right now I don’t have a pair and I haven’t listened to my iPod in about a month. Total sadness. But I might need to buy these, not just because I’m in desperate need, but also because they are adorable, and maybe Lucca will be too intimidated by the pigs to come near them.
