After previewing her perfume last week, Snooki made her debut on HSN last night, selling that and some of her other delightfully tacky products. She showcased the many ways to apply her fragrance and explained how her sunglasses (which rattle like a maraca, and that’s a good thing) block out haters. We’re pretty sure she made a vulgar gesture with her slippers, too. Read more…
Queen Latifah has possessed a powerful image since the 1980s. Who can forget the impact of a female MC donning queen-like garb — leather Africa medallions, Nefertiti-esque hats, and other Afro-centric attire? But, still, we would never argue that she’s a fashion icon. So we’re kind of surprised she, too, has a lifestyle brand with HSN. Literally every celebrity has a fashion or lifestyle collection, causing our heads to spin around and question what it means to be an actual fashion designer. Keep reading »
See this incredible lady — and her incredible necklace — above? That’s fashion icon and interior designer Iris Apfel. And soon, you’ll be able to own a tiny piece of her sartorial splendor when she launches her very own line of costume jewelry for the Home Shopping Network. Her HSN line will be called Rara Avis by Iris Apfel and will range in price from $20 to $180. Iris says the collection is inspired by both modern and vintage pieces and will be made from Lucite, metals, and beads. “I have amassed an enormous collection of bags, belts, bangles and beads without which I would be lost.,” she explained. “One can change the entire look of an outfit by substituting one accessory for another. I love objects from different worlds, different eras, combined my way. Never uptight, achieving — hopefully — a kind of throwaway chic.” We can’t wait. [Racked] Keep reading »
Putting new sheets on your bed is like getting a whole new wardrobe — and it can cost that much, too, especially if you want a soft, high thread count set. Luckily, Nate Berkus’ line of bedding for HSN looks high-design, feels high-quality, and costs, well, a lot less than you’d expect. Plus, the rope-like lattice pattern will go well with the nautical-inspired clothes you’ve been adding to your closet.
People often laugh at me when I tell them I shop on QVC and HSN, but little do they know, both of these shopping networks have awesome fashions, handbags, jewelry and makeup. Plus, you can pay in installments for some items, and they’ll ship the item before you’re even finished paying. Keep reading »
I’ve been having trouble sleeping lately, so I’ve been watching a lot of late night TV. HSN, formerly Home Shoppers Network, has become one of my favorite networks because the sales are always a surprise. Sure, the hosts sell a lot of mattresses and frumpy clothing, but oftentimes, the jewelry is rather genius. HSN hipped me to stainless steel jewelry that is cute and affordable. And unlike other costume jewelry, stainless steel jewelry will never turn, rust or lose its luster. Keep reading »
