Last week, we asked you to tell us how you treat yourself during the holidays, in the hopes of winning your holiday wish list from Avon. You all gave us some great ideas for maintaining our sanity this time of year. But there could be only one winner. Keep reading »
CAVI is probably a fashion brand that your guy is more familiar with, since it became known for its men’s embellished military shirt that Jay-Z wore in 2004. But now, CAVI is letting you in on its fashion act with its first-ever women’s collection. CAVI had the “prima donna” in mind for the holiday collection, which features the Night Cap Dress (above) and more trendy items like a faux fur vest. The CAVI woman provides the glamorous counterpoint to the more rugged CAVI man. She has more flair, but also a bit of grit in her style, says CAVI creative director Garth Cabral. You can shop the CAVI holiday collection at Macy’s, and check out more photos of the collection after the jump. Keep reading »

Treesje handbags bridge the divide between drugstore and designer cosmetic bags with the introduction of the Sweet Little Goodies collection. Plush leather and studded details make these Krome cosmetic bags glamorous and chic. (Our favorite is the silver distressed leather.) Refreshing your lipstick will give you the opportunity to show off your winning style, but you can also use this beauty accessory as a clutch for nights on the town.
Avon‘s holiday campaign “Shop Early, Shop Easy, Shop Avon” pretty much sums up why we’re big fans of the cosmetic, skin care, and fashion giant. Not only can you get everything you need for the holidays, like the 3-Piece Enchanted Holiday Nailwear Collection or a Wear Your Way Convertible Dress (above), but you can also shop from the comfort of your home while watching your favorite holiday movies. Avon definitely has gifts that are fun to receive and keep for yourself, so there shouldn’t be anything stopping you from browsing. [Avon.com]

I kind of want a boyfriend for a lot of reasons — like regular sex, foot rubs, companionship, someone to vacation with, etc. But I really, really want a boyfriend because then I could buy him these boxers and make him wear them year-round. Am I alone in thinking they’re funny yet totally sexy? Oh, Santa baby, indeed. [$18, Toddland] Keep reading »

As the holidays approach, we all start thinking about that favorite moment spent with friends and family, the meal you’re most looking forward to eating, the gifts you are most looking forward to giving (and let’s be honest, receiving), and the traditions that come along with all of it. This year, we want to be a part of your favorite family moment and would love a sneak peek via Flickr or YouTube. Show us how you celebrate the holidays with your family and friends — whether it’s a video of all the cooks in the kitchen, opening holiday gifts, or playing in the snow. And you could win a $1,000 gift giving shopping spree on Nautica.com for your efforts.
It may only be Aug. 18, but it’s never too early to get crackin’ on your holiday shopping. While some of you may operate well under pressure, I need to start thinking about it now. Even if I don’t buy the presents right away, it makes me feel less desperate because at least I know what’s out there.
This year, I may go all-out and get super organized, making friends and family fill out this cute vital stats sheet designed by Made in England (and available to download for free). Yes, you might come across as a little anal, but calling your sister on Dec. 19 to ask for her shoe size kind of ruins the surprise. [Made In England] Keep reading »
