President Bill Clinton co-hosted a party with Prince Albert of Monaco and took a photograph with three beautiful young women.
Those women just happened to be porn stars. According to The Atlantic Wire, one woman is Brooklyn Lee, who appeared in the porn flick “Secretaries 4″; another is Tasha Reign, who appeared in “Farm Girls Gone Bad”; and the third woman has been identified as someone named Jennifer Taule. Everyone from Page Six to the UK’s Daily Mail is falling over themselves over “Bubba and the porn babes.”

I, like the rest of the internet, am pretty obsessed with this pic of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton workin’ the dance floor in Cartagena, Colombia. Hill was chillaxing after a busy day attending the Summit of the Americas this past weekend. I wonder what song was playing? [via Buzzfeed]
Today in “two names I didn’t expect to see in the same headline”: Hillary Rodham Clinton and Amelia Earhart. It’s true, though: the Secretary of State met with the International Group for Historic Aircraft Recovery on Tuesday to show support to their efforts. The group, composed of scientists and historians, is launching a new search for Earhart’s plane off the Pacific island nation of Kiribati, based on the hypothesis that Earhart’s aircraft actually landed on the island, and the pilot and her navigator may have been able to survive for days or weeks after they vanished off the radar on July 2, 1937. While Clinton won’t be participating in the actual search, her department said that “lauding Earhart’s legacy as a pioneer for women and a model of American courage” is an important mission in itself. “Why extremists always focus on women remains a mystery to me, but they all seem to. It doesn’t matter what country they’re in or what religion they claim, they all want to control women. They want to control how we dress, they want to control how we act, they even want to control the decisions we make about our own health and our own bodies. Yes, it is hard to believe. But even here at home, we have to stand up for women’s rights and reject efforts to marginalize any one of us because America needs to set an example for the entire world.”
— Secretary Of State Hillary Clinton spoke this weekend at The Daily Beast’s Women In The World summit and reminded us why we’re grateful to have this woman representing us to the world. I love how she spoke about extremists in general, not naming one religion specifically, and how she didn’t reference anti-abortion Republicans specifically, either. It makes it all the more powerful that she’s talking about the philosophy behind control, not sidelining her point by bashing anyone in particular for doing it. [Nerve]
I thought “Butter” was just a movie about Jennifer Garner as a competitive butter sculptor. It turns out, the film is a metaphor for the entire 2008 election. Jennifer plays a woman pitted against a young African-American girl in a butter sculpting competition, sure that they’ll win the first place prize she believes she deserves. But when the young upstart impresses the judges, Jennifer’s character loses it — and you can watch her freak out in this new clip.
Personally I think her crazy-eyed look, pin-straight hair and power pumps are more evocative of Sarah Palin or Michele Bachmann. And, no lie, “I’m sorry that I was born white and tall and pretty” sounds like something one of them would actually say. [Cinema Blend]
“I’m not going to mislead anybody. Politics is really hard. And it is harder for women. There’s a double standard, and you can’t complain about it. You just have to accept it, and be smart enough to navigate it. And you have to have a pretty tough skin. To paraphrase a favorite quote from Eleanor Roosevelt: If a woman wants to be in politics, she has to have the skin of a rhinoceros. Most men who go into politics just think they’re great. They believe they can do anything. Most young women, not only in politics but in most areas, are more cautious and more likely to say, ‘Could I really do this? Am I good enough?’ I was talking to a friend and very successful businessman the other day, and he said, ‘The thing that still annoys me more than anything is that I see all these young women who are so much more capable than they allow themselves to believe. And I see so many young men who are so much less capable but who believe they are God’s gift to the world.’ I would just say to women: Try it! Put your foot in the pond and see if you want to swim.”
—Secretary of State Hillary Clinton took a Glamour reporter along while traveling in Africa and trying to empower women through the African Women’s Entrepreneurship Program. I admire Clinton for what she’s accomplished and for her realistic outlook on how women should get ahead. Here, she is echoing Facebook’s Sheryl Sandberg, who implored young women to think they’re as awesome as young men do. You’re God’s gift to the world, too, ladies! [Glamour] Keep reading »
No, no, no, no, no. The other week, we introduced you to Sammie Spades, the porn star who has been in such hits as “White Bubble Butts #4m” and who, back in the day, was an intern in Hillary Clinton‘s Buffalo office. Sammie was lucky enough to snap a photo of herself with Hill that fateful summer of 2006. But now, the adult film star is leveraging the experience for evil. According to TMZ, Sammie is working on a new XXX spoof in which she’ll get to know her former boss in the Biblical sense. No, like really. Here is a photo of Sammie casting potential Hillary stand-ins for the flick. Keep reading »
