We’re really glad that Seal and Heidi Klum are so in love and all. But Seal’s new music video for his single “Secret,” featuring him and Heidi butt naked in bed and lightly caressing one another, has hit my “feeling violated button.” I’m really uncomfortable watching them touch intimately for a full 3:28. Especially the part when he’s gently cupping her breasts. Argh! Gross! It’s like watching your parents make out or something. Too bad this perfectly good song is ruined by their saccharine display of man-and-wife-in-love explosion. I’ve got a secret for them: this video makes me want to take a shower. Betsey Johnson Brings The Noise To “Project Runway”

Fans of the ’90s, tulle, and “Sassy” magazine, get ready! Ebullient designer Betsey Johnson will be the guest judge on tonight’s episode of “Project Runway.” Tonight, the designers will be asked to make wearable items out of party store supplies (crepe paper bolero, anyone?).

It’s a tough challenge — apparently one designer ends up in the hospital tonight — and we’re wondering how Betsey’s quirkiness will mix with Michael Kors’ wit and Nina Garcia’s steely reserve. Betsey’s crazy style would have probably been “auf-ed” by Heidi Klum and the rest of the P-Run gang, so we’re expecting sparks to fly at the judging table. Keep reading »

Tim Gunn’s Mutiny: Asks If “Project Runway” Judges Are Smoking Crack

Last night brought the season premiere of “Project Runway,” and I tried—really tried—to stay awake through all 90 minutes of it. But while this show once seemed so fresh and original, now that it’s in its 8th season, it’s just stale. So to add an extra 30 minutes to every episode? Egads. I found myself drifting off and contemplating such things as: what is Heidi Klum‘s tattoo on her right inner arm?

The one bit of good news about the show is that Tim Gunn‘s role has been slightly broadened. He now does confessional interviews that are interspersed throughout the episode. But he still isn’t a judge because, as he says, “I’m a believer in the separation of church and state.” And sadly, Tim feels that judges Heidi Klum, Michael Kors, and Nina Garcia made some bad decisions this season. In one episode, he intervened during a judging session because he felt they were about to send the wrong person home. “I’ve never witnessed a season where I felt so disabled by what the judges have decided,” he says. “There’s a reason I call them crack-smoking judges.” [NY Post] Keep reading »

Heidi Klum And Seal Think They Can Make Your Relationship As “Divine” As Theirs

Heidi Klum and Seal, now you are annoying me. The admittedly adorable and oh-so-in-love couple thinks they know the key to a successful marriage, and it’s not just annual themed vow renewal ceremonies. The pair, who have been married for five years and have four children, are bringing their relationship wisdom to TV, in the form of a TV show on Lifetime called “Love’s Divine.” The couple will travel the country, advising couples who are having relationship problems. Look, Heidi and Seal certainly seem incredibly happy, but I really hate it when rich, famous people try and tell us normal folks how to do things, as if the average couple has access to the same resources. After all, when Heidi and Seal need a weekend away to rediscover “the spark,” they have an army of nannies on speed dial. While I may find the couple to be far more tolerable than, say, Gwyneth Paltrow, I’m willing to bet their relationship advice will be as realistic and palatable as one of GOOP‘s kale cleanses.
