Emma Watson Says Being Sexy Is Scary For Her

“I felt a bit uncomfortable and awkward. It didn’t come naturally at all. My acting tutor said the hardest thing for me was to get angry. I almost broke down in tears when they tried to get me to be angry. I keep that really bottled up somewhere. I feel unleashing it would be the scariest thing and to let myself be powerful, sexy, all those things—it’s scary for me.”

Emma Watson talks to Harper’s Bazaar UK about how she felt shooting this spread for their August issue headlined “Good Girl, Gone Bad.” Something about this quote, combined with the image of her posing behind the gate, makes me think she’s about to bust out singing that Smashing Pumpkins’ song, “Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage.” Love the hair, though. Emma Watson Has Lived In A Bubble

“Hermione is so close to who I am as a person that I’ve never really had to research a role. I’m literally rediscovering what it means to be an actress … I have had no control over my life. I have lived in a complete bubble. They found me and picked me for the part. And now I’m desperately trying to find my way through it.”

Behold, the official poster for “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2,” featuring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint standing dazed and bloodied among a pile of rubble. I’m thinking this might be a sign that things don’t end simply happily ever after. [EW] Keep reading »

Watch A Scene From “Harry Potter And The Deathly Hollows: Part 2″

This weekend, I finally got around to watching “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows: Part 1″ — Dobby the House Elf, never forget — and it’s got me super psyched for Part 2, which is, of course, the final film in the “Harry Potter” series. Part 1 was amazing and I understand, in theory, why they split the story into two parts — it’s a lot of material to cram into one movie if you’re not going to edit much of anything out — but Part 2 is really where all the incredible action occurs. Lucky for those of us who are counting the days until July 15, the first scene from Part 2 has just be released on the internet. Watch it above! Get ready to have your ass handed to you, Voldemort. • The brother of “Harry Potter” actress Afshan Azad, 22, who played Padma Patil in the series, has pled guilty to assaulting her at the family’s Manchester, England, home when he learned she was dating a non-Muslim. Ashraf Azad was released on bail, but Afshan herself has repeatedly indicated she fears her life is at risk if she pursues charges against her family. [Jezebel]

Emma Watson Turned To Her Co-Stars For Help Decoding Men

“When I was on the set with Daniel and Rupert, it was normally me who went to the guys with the questions about guys because I don’t pretend to understand the male gender. I’m just like, ‘What is going on here? What should I be doing? I don’t understand.’ So they’ve helped me out a bit and been like my protective big brothers.”

Emma Watson tells Parade magazine that it was mighty handy to have Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint around on the set of the “Harry Potter” series. Wait, does this mean her boyfriend George Craig, of the band One Night Only, isn’t the perfect specimen we imagined? [People] Keep reading »
