To celebrate the release of the hotly anticipated “Great Gatsby” remake, this week’s OMGILYH (wow, that’s one un-catchy acronym, huh?) hairstyle just had to be vintage-inspired. And it really doesn’t get more Gatsby-esque than the classic 1920′s finger wave, modeled here by lovely blogger Super Kawaii Mama. You might have noticed a recent trend of tons and tons of drop-waist dresses. Likely, designers wanted to tie their collections to “The Great Gatsby,” which was supposed to come out at the end of last year. The film still isn’t out, but collections featuring Gatsby-inspired clothes are all over. We love a drop waist dress because it picks up 1920s style without looking like you’re wearing a costume.
