Rielle Hunter “Repulsed” By Her GQ Photos

rielle hunter gq pics

If you were shocked by Rielle Hunter‘s GQ photos—in which she poses in a button-down men’s shirt, pearls, and no pants while lying on a bed in one photo and sitting seductively with a stuffed Dora the Explorer in another—then you’re not the only one to let out a gasp. Hunter herself has called the photos “repulsive” and went crying to Barbara Walters to state her case. Yesterday, Walters revealed on “The View” that she’d spoken to Hunter, who said she cried for two hours when she saw the racy pics. When Walters asked Hunter why she sat for the photos, Walters quoted her as saying, “I went with the flow.” Hunter reportedly claims the magazine was supposed to use headshots for all but one photo and that she trusted photographer Mark Seliger to pick less promiscuous photos. But in an interview with “Good Morning America” today, Lisa DePaulo, the writer of the GQ article, was in disbelief over Hunter’s claims. Keep reading »

Say Hello To The Shoe Bra

I am dying to get my hands on one of these new shoe bras. I’m not sure how much support I’ll get, but I feel like they may come in handy if I ever meet a guy who has lost his shoes. Check out actress Louise Bourgoin modeling the sexy lopsided look for GQ France after the jump. (These are going to be huge at Victoria’s Secret — I’m sure of it.) Keep reading »

Who’s Worse For Rihanna: Chris Brown Or Her Manager?

An easy story for GQ would have been just another Rihanna puff piece, like the disappointingly bland one Glamour ran. GQ could have just let Rihanna say, “Domestic violence is bad! I wear funky clothes! Buy my album!” and have left it at that. But in the article “Good Girl Gone Badass,” journalist Lisa DePaulo brilliantly captured how Rihanna’s manager positioned herself two feet away from RiRi and DePaulo’s conversation and interrupted the interview not once, not twice, but three times, to instruct Rihanna on how to talk about her life. Clearly, Rihanna’s allowed to reveal more in her photo shoots than she is in her interviews. Keep reading »

He Can Be The Captain Of Our Love Boat

December’s GQ is the magazine’s “Men of the Year” issue and they’re celebrating with multiple covers. This one is my favorite, featuring the hottest Captain Kirk since, well, William Shatner, “Star Trek”‘s Chris Pine, as their pick for Breakout of the Year. Check out their other covers for men of the year here. Keep reading »

Did GQ Give January Jones A Digital Boob Job?

Those of you who’ve looked carefully at the new cover of GQ probably noticed that January Jones‘ boobs look, in a word, amazing. And, uh, much bigger than one would’ve thought from skinny Betty Draper? A “source” from inside the magazine squealed and told the New York Post, “They definitely did some significant retouching.” But now GQ‘s photo editor has shot back with this statement:

“Yes, they’re real. And they’re spectacular. People think that a person will look the same in every photograph, but that just doesn’t happen … Terry [Richardson] likes to work with harder lighting, and that can create a stronger shadow—that, and body position and perspective could give the illusion that her breasts are bigger. January Jones needed no help. Trust me.”

Trust me? Doesn’t he sound like a football player in the locker room bragging about the girl he got to first base with after the school dance? Do you agree that the rotundness of her chest could be a lighting issue, or were these totally digitally enhanced? Keep reading »
