Dear Young Women On My Subway Car Yesterday,
I remember high school, a small world in which everyone feels like a character in an epic drama. A place where peers pass judgement and share hearsay as entertainment. Where few consider the appropriateness or repercussions of their conversations. Yesterday, the two of you stood in a New York City subway car and gossiped loudly about a classmate, making the entire subway car uncomfortable, especially as the story was about a teenage girl having sex in a public place. You laughed at her confusion about a possible pregnancy even though a condom was used. You proceeded to tell the intimate details of what she and her partner had done. I won’t share those details because my intention is not to shame the subject of your conversation. And besides, I have no right. Keep reading »
I never realized how much time I spent gossiping until I tried to stop. I’m not a mean-spirited person in the least. The opposite really — I go out of my way to be nice to people. Will and Jaden Smith appeared on Thai TV show “The Woody Show” to promote their new film, “After Earth.” You can watch the full segment here, but let me give you the big highlight. The host asks Will, “Have you ever kissed your son on Thai television before?” Will replies, “I can kiss my son.” Then he grabs Jaden and kisses him on the mouth. There appeared to have been tongue involved.
Jaden responded to the kissing incident saying, “[That] happens all the time.” I say, to each family their own.
These two aren’t the only famous family members who like to lock lips. Click onward to see other celebrity family members caught kissing. [Hello Beautiful]
When Lady Gaga has a hip replacement, you’d better believe she’s going to roll out of the recovery room in a couture wheelchair. And naturally, Terry Richardson will be waiting there to photograph her in it.
Instead of hobbling around on crutches like most of us would after her recent hip replacement, the singer is recovering in a one-of-a-kind, 24-karat gold apparatus designed by Ken Borochov of luxury brand Mordekai. Her golden wheelchair is complete with a black tufted calf leather seat, a removable leather canopy, padded leg rests and gold-plated brakes. Keep reading »
