Taylor Momsen And Jessica Szohr Out At “Gossip Girl”

“Gossip Girl” has gotten good lately. Like, really good. Blair fell in love with the Prince of Monaco and accepted his marriage proposal, even though Chuck is hell bent on getting her back. Meanwhile, Serena‘s cousin is totally single white female-ing her and is creepily moving in on Dan. But there are two characters who have all but disappeared from the “Gossip Girl” tableau—Jenny Humphrey and Vanessa Abrams. So I wasn’t hugely surprised to hear that Taylor Momsen and Jessica Szohr, who play them, won’t be series regulars for season five of the show.

A year ago at a party, I spotted a stunning woman in a tight-fitting red dress who seemed eerily familiar. I stood by the punch bowl for at least five minutes trying to place her. And then it hit me. “Wait, isn’t that Dorota from ‘Gossip Girl‘? Only in a cocktail dress rather than an apron?” And it was in fact Zuzanna Szadkowski, who plays everyone’s favorite Upper East Side housekeeper. Taylor Momsen’s Been Expelled

Looks like Taylor Momsen‘s finally getting what’s been coming to her with that foul attitude. She’s been expelled from Constance for volatile behavior. “Gossip Girl” announced that Momsen’s character, Jenny Humphrey, will be sent on an indefinite hiatus from the show. While she’s only been on a few episodes this season, it looks like her scheming at the Saints and Sinners masquerade is the last we’ll see of her this season. I think that means she’s fired. “Gossip Girl” Stylist Eric Daman Designs For Non-Upper East Siders

You might be several years older than the “Gossip Girl” crew, but admit it: you’ve wanted to dress like Blair Waldorf, Serena Van Der Woodsen, or maybe even Jenny Humphrey at least once. Well, now is your chance. Eric Daman, the stylist who brought us all those cute looks, is designing a line of party dresses for Charlotte Russe, where he is also a creative director. These are party dresses, not cocktail dresses, so expect the line to be geared more towards the tweens and teens, but as we all know a pair of opaque black tights and a blazer can make almost any dress age-appropriate.
