Okay, not really. But maybe some day! Watch this video clip from Kris Humphries‘ appearance on “Good Morning America.” The reporter practically broke a bone in his attempt to steer the conversation back to Kim K. every five seconds. Kris — obviously coached beforehand — managed to deflect all of his attempts marvellously, only going as far as to say, “Certain things happen in life and you gotta move forward.” Good for you, Kris. It’s not as though I care about you or your career in the least, but it’ll be a holiday miracle if the divorce hubbub dies down, and I appreciate your effort! [DListed]

In Bombshell Interview, Kris Humphries Compellingly Breaks Silence About His Shocking Divorce From Kim Kardashian
“This couple really has to deal with the ‘ick’ factor.” Yikes. We should all be so lucky to have “Good Morning America” introduce a segment on our marriage this way. “GMA” checked in with 16-year-old Courtney Alexis Stodden, an aspiring pop star, and her 51-year-old husband, Doug Hutchinson, an actor. The segment danced around some of the very real potential psychological issues that it could have raised about a union such as this. Sure it’s legal, but is a 35-year age difference (even if she’s an “old soul”) sexually predatory? Has Courtney Stodden been “groomed” for sexual relationships with older men, despite being a virgin on her wedding night? I’m assuming the show had to skirt around any suggestion of that in order to lock down the interview.
They certainly seem happy together, but I can’t help but think something seems … off … especially the woozy look in Courtney’s eyes about halfway through the video when she’s staring at her husband. Judge for yourself. [Mediaite] Keep reading »
Happy Femme Fatale day! Britney Spears‘ highly anticipated new album drops today and to celebrate, BritBrit recorded a performance of three numbers over the weekend to air on “Good Morning America.” And all I can say is … how sad. These performances are only a smidge above the infamous “Gimme More” debacle of a few years back. Not only does Britney’s dancing seem terribly stilted, but she’s obviously not singing even a little. And I’m sorry, but the costumes just aren’t doing anything for her body—which would look totally hot just a little more covered up. At least the sets, lights, and costumes look cool?
Two more numbers after the jump. Keep reading »
- Whiny whiner Chris Brown is whining that he feels “Good Morning America” “exploited” him by asking about his domestic violence assault against ex-girlfriend Rihanna, which caused him to smash a dressing room window, rip his shirt off (?), and run outside of the studio. Jeez. What’s wrong with you bitches? Can’t a guy beat his girlfriend in peace around here?! [Gawker]
- Elizabeth Taylor’s private funeral service is being held today. [TMZ, People]
- “K Town,” a “Jersey Shore”-style reality show about Asians in L.A.’s Koreatown is allegedly a-comin’, although we don’t know on what network yet. Blink and you’ll miss it, but The Frisky logo gets flashed in this “K-Town” pitch video. [Oh No They Didn't]
Let’s have some real talk … I know you think you’ve been having a really bad week and everything, what with your totally unfair “Good Morning America” interview earlier this week, when you were asked by Robin Roberts about your life after Rihanna. You remember Rihanna, right? She was your girlfriend — the one you beat up in February 2009, so violently that many media outlets refused to show the pictures of her. Well, Chris, you really have managed to outdo yourself this time; acting a fool on “GMA” was bad enough, but it was the unapologetic bulls**ttery after the fact that really takes the cake. You should be shocked and awed that you even get invited onto talk shows at all. I know I am. Keep reading »
Perhaps Chris Brown‘s anger management classes aren’t going so well. This morning, the performer and his newly blonde hair were scheduled for an interview and performance on “Good Morning America.” When Robin Roberts asked him about Rihanna, he said, “It’s not really a big deal to me now. I think I’m past that in my life. Today is the album, so everybody go get that album.” From there, Chris supposedly stormed off the set and starting screaming in his dressing room so loudly that hair and makeup called security.
And it allegedly got way worse. Keep reading »
Jones had claimed she’d been attacked by a man in Central Park while jogging and that bystanders scared him off. Later, she claimed the same man — Hispanic, in his 30s or 40s — showed up outside her apartment building and threatened her by saying, “I know you went to police.” She also claimed the NYPD refused to take her statement when she reported the disturbing events. Presumably, given her public profile, Jones was then given police protection by the NYPD for several weeks; they accompanied her to work, to the movies, and even out walking her dog. But over time, the detectives started to realize her story was not consistent. When confronted, Heidi confessed she “did make this up.” Keep reading »
Andrew Young, the former John Edwards aide who claims in his book, The Politician, that he lied for the former presidential candidate, went on “Good Morning America” today with his wife, Cheri. The couple talked about how they always put John and Elizabeth Edwards first, saying they housed Rielle Hunter for eight months and even brought her along on family vacations. They even agreed to say Rielle’s baby was Andrew’s. Apparently, John told them he was going to come clean after Elizabeth died, because he didn’t want her to find out about the scandal. If supporting child labor and drug cartels weren’t enough to dissuade you from purchasing counterfeit luxury goods, consider the nasty rash you might break out in after spraying on the mixture of urine and antifreeze that’s found in a number of black market perfumes. Just as we’re still recovering from their shocking, scatological expose on new clothing, “Good Morning America” once again takes us on a compelling journey into the disgusting underbelly of a seemingly innocuous world, this time focusing on the knockoff fragrance trade. (And for that “GMA,” we salute you). I don’t think I’ve personally ever bought a fake perfume, but I’ve certainly seen them for sale before. And I think it makes sense they use pee: You totally need it to get the color just right! [ABC News] Keep reading »
