- Kate Hudson’s father, Bill Hudson, is publishing a tell-all book this fall in which he’ll accuse his ex-wife Goldie Hawn of “parental alienation.” “Parental alienation” is a term — often used by fathers, but not always — to describe when one parent isolates the kids from another parent in a divorce. Bill Hudson’s book will cover his marriage to Hawn, their divorce, and his estrangement from his kids. Of daughter Kate, Bill Hudson has called her a “spoiled brat” and said she refuses to visit her sick grandmother or introduce Bill to her two kids. Good luck on the reconciliation, dude. Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy have finally decided on a name for their newborn son — Bingham Hawn Bellamy! “Bing” for short, naturally. I’m suddenly nostalgic for the days when we thought it was strange that Gwyneth Paltrow named her daughter after a piece of fruit. I suppose Bing isn’t as strange a name as, say, “Pilot Inspektor” (that’s the name of Jason Lee’s kid), and there are famous Bings in the world, like Bing Crosby. I love that his middle name is in honor of his Grandma Goldie. Bingham … Bing Hawn Bellamy … I’m warming up to it. Thank god. Anyway, little factoid for the new parents — the URL “Bing.com” is already taken. Bummer. [Us Weekly] Keep reading »
We love Kate Hudson. But even moreso, we love her mama, Goldie Hawn. So I am pretty darn excited that Goldie has signed on for a new prospective HBO series called “The Viagra Diaries,” about a woman who, when her husband has a midlife crisis and leaves her at 65, is left single for the first time in three decades. The show is being executive produced and written by Darren Star, the man behind “Beverly Hills, 90210” and “Sex and the City.”
This is exciting on so many levels. Keep reading »
Marriage is so out this wedding season! Only Mariah Carey is doing it, that’s how over it is. After a nuptial-less summer — not even Kate Moss made it down the aisle — we started noticing the new Hollywood trend. Longterm partnerships (sans diamonds, splashy affairs, and cheesy photos) are the must-have Ray-Ban Wayfarers of relationships! After both had failed marriages, hippie generation icons Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have been going at it, without making it official, for 25 years. In an interview, Goldie claimed their secret to success is, “knowing I can walk out at any moment…that keeps things fresh.” And after going through the pain of divorce, many stars seem to agree.
