Gleek Dianna Agron Defends Her GQ Cover

“In the land of Madonna, Britney, Miley, ‘Gossip Girl,’ other public figures and shows that have pushed the envelope and challenged the levels of comfort in their viewers and fans, we are not the first. Now, in perpetuating the type of images that evoke these kind of emotions, I am sorry. If you are hurt or these photos make you uncomfortable, it was never our intention. And if your eight-year-old has a copy of our GQ cover in hand, again I am sorry. But I would have to ask, how on earth did it get there? … These aren’t photos I am going to frame and put on my desk, but hey, nor are any of the photos I take for magazines … If you asked me for my dream photo shoot, I’d be in a treehouse, in a wild costume, war-paint and I’d be playing with my pet dragon.”

—Dianna Agron, aka Quinn on “Glee,” responds to folks being up in arms over her risque shots in the November issue of GQ. I hope some magazine is working on that pet dragon concept as we speak. [Fell Down The Rabbit Hole] Keep reading »

Barbra Streisand Inspired Lea Michele To Keep Her Real Nose

“I was one of the only girls in my high school that didn’t get one … And if anybody needed it, I probably did. But my mom always told me, ‘Barbra Streisand didn’t get a nose job. You’re not getting a nose job.’ And I didn’t. I’m proud to be on a positive show and to be a voice for girls and say, ‘You don’t need to look like everybody else. Love who you are.’”

Lea Michele tells GQ why she never went under the knife. I like how the assumption here seems to be that’s the norm? Let’s be honest, while Lea is no Babs, we’re still happy that she has her original nose. [NY Post] Keep reading »

Heather Morris Loves Her “Glee” Ditz As Much As We Do

“I love Brittany just as much as everyone else. When I read every script, I’m laughing out loud already because it’s so great on the page. I don’t even have any inkling as to how the way I say the lines factor in, the words are just so funny. I loved the ‘dolphins are gay sharks’ line. Because it’s true. I mean, in Brittany’s eyes it’s true. I think people actually believed it might be true after that. She makes a good point. It may have changed the way people look at dolphins now.”

—”Glee” star Heather Morris reflects on her character, Brittany S. Pearce. We hope she and Artie reunite soon. They were so adorable last night. [NY Post] Keep reading »

Lookin’ Sharp: How To Get Rachel From “Glee”‘s Look

We know you’re just dying to look like “Glee’s” goody-two shoes Rachel Berry, right? OK, so she’s doesn’t sport the most covetable of styles, but we’re not quite sure why she’s so hated on, either. Maybe it’s because she’s not super glam and not ugly at the same time? One thing we can’t deny — she’s got a great face. Leave it to our favorite makeup tutorial lady on YouTube, GlowPinkStah, to show us how to get the Rachel Berry look. Which, we gotta say, is pretty slammin’. Nice vocal stylings, too. 5 Actors Who Have Writing Projects On The Side

You probably know actor Bill O’Malley as Kurt’s currently comatose dad on “Glee.” And while he knows that all the Gleeks are desperate to find out if he makes it or kicks the bucket, Bill would rather talk about the project he is bringing to life on the side. When O’Malley isn’t listening to the sweet serenades of New Directions, he is writing and producing the upcoming Showtime series “Shameless,” which will star William H. Macy and premiere in January. No musical numbers are involved.

Check out what other stars are working on scripts, screenplays, and stage numbers. Keep reading »

Britney Spears Gleeks Out: All 3 Of Her “Glee” Cameos

Hark, what blonde from yonder TV breaks? Last night was, of course, the much hyped Britney Spears episode of “Glee.” I was surprised to see that the spoilers got a few things wrong. The basic premise of the episode was that Kurt and others wanted to sing Britney Spears, while Brittany was thoroughly opposed to the idea because, as it turns out, her full name is Brittany S. Pears and she’s been living in her sound-a-like’s shadow. Britney herself did make a cameo in the episode—three of them, to be exact—but not as John Stamos’ dental receptionist as we expected.
