I have this weird case of Lea Michele/Cory Monteith amnesia where I always forget they’re a real life couple, and whenever I see pictures of them together I call all my friends to tell them “Oh my god did you know those kids from ‘Glee’ are together in real life?!” And my friends are like, “Yes, everyone knows that, plus you called me two days ago to tell me the same thing.” So when I saw pictures of Lea Michele and Cory Monteith together at LAX, my first thought was, “Whoa, they’re together in real life?!” and my second thought was “Daaaaamn, cute outfit, Lea!” If you thought the same thing (about her outfit, that is), get all the pieces to steal her style, after the jump! [It] would’ve been helpful for [President Obama] to explain to Malia and Sasha that while her friends parents are no doubt lovely people, that’s not a reason to change thousands of years of thinking about marriage. Or that – as great as her friends may be – we know that in general kids do better growing up in a mother/father home. Ideally, fathers help shape their kids’ worldview. … Sometimes dads should lead their family in the right ways of thinking. In this case, it would’ve been nice if the President would’ve been an actual leader and helped shape their thoughts instead of merely reflecting what many teenagers think after one too many episodes of “Glee.”
Unwed mother Bristol Palin penned a blog post about President Obama’s announcement yesterday that he supports gay marriage, no doubt while taking it doggy-style from another man to whom she is not legally married. You know, since the sanctity of marriage so important to her.
Also, if you read Bristol’s entire post, it’s a weirdly-argued screed about Christian submission in household and how liberals are upset when wives submit to husbands but Obama “submits” to his teenaged daughters. Um, WHAT? I just can’t anymore. [Patheos via Politico] Keep reading »
Another day, another set of leaked nude photos. This is becoming a major trend! The latest to join Christina Hendricks, Olivia Munn and Scarlett Johansson is “Glee”‘s Heather Morris. A number of naked pictures appear to have been hacked from her cell phone. Although she hasn’t commented on the photos yet, this isn’t the first time the celeb has made nude news. Back in 2010, naughty images of the actress surfaced and she admitted to posing in her birthday suit in her pre-fame days. “It’s not something I’m ashamed of,” she commented at the time. “Everybody should do tasteful beautiful nudes so when you get older you’re gonna be like, ‘Oh that’s when my body looked so great!’ ” The latest batch of nudes appear to be a lot less … tasteful, but she still looks amazing. Anyway, let this be yet another lesson to us all; destroy those suckers once they’ve served their purpose. [NY Daily News]
In a “Glee” episode plagued with cheesy as hell plot lines (Mr. Shue wants Finn to be his best man? Coach Beiste got married in Vegas? What?), last night’s highlight was Nene Leakes as tough-talking synchronized swimming coach, Roz Washington. I didn’t know what to expect, but I am happy to report that the “Real Housewife of Atlanta” star rocked her cameo with wry one-liners like, “If you pee in my pool, I will kill you.” You can watch a clip of her scene here. I hope we see her again this season. I like watching her act better than I like watching her act like herself. What did you think of Nene’s acting debut?
Hi, did you have plans for this evening? I did, but then I canceled them because A) it’s pouring rain, B) it’s freezing out, and C) Fox is airing new episodes of “Glee,” “New Girl,” and “Raising Hope” tonight. So I’m making excuses and going home to sit around in my undies, paint my nails, and watching the boob tube like the rockstar that I am. Keep reading »
