15 Imagined Flavors Served At Farrah Abraham’s New Frozen Yogurt Shop

The first thought that popped in my head when I heard about Farrah Abraham opening up her own frozen yogurt shop was “everybody steer clear of anything cream-flavored.” I’m not sure why Farrah, the “Teen Mom” who’s starred in sex tapes like “Backdoor Teen Mom” and “Farrah 2: Backdoor And More” feels the need to venture into the froyo biz, although she did tell us a while back that she was hoping to attend culinary school and pursue “other culinary business endeavors,” so I assume this is one of those endeavors. Until the doors to her Austin, Texas shop open, we’ve come up with some froyo flavors that one might expect from Farrah’s FroCo Fresh Frozen. Keep reading »

Farrah Abraham Is Opening A Froyo Shop And Her Logo “Coba The Poppin’ Boba” Is Beyond Creepy

Where to start with this one? Farrah Abraham, erotic novelist and star of such films as “Backdoor Teen Mom” and several seasons of “16 & Pregnant,” is opening her own frozen yogurt shop in Austin, Texas. Starcasm has the “exclusive” story on this gamechanger: Froco Fresh Frozen will be a “family-friendly” eatery, many of the foods will be Greek yogurt-based, and it is opening on October 1st. Also, their graphic design budget for the logo looks to have been about $25, tops. That’s the brand’s creepy logo, a bug-eyed critter named Coba The Poppin’ Boba. First of all, I had to Google the word “boba” to find out that it’s another term for bubble tea — which doesn’t explain why Coba The Poppin’ Boba is at a frozen yogurt shop, but I guess whatever, right? The important thing is that Farrah’s singing/vagina mold career was not lucrative and girlfriend is grasping at straws. Bubble tea straws. I wonder if James Deen is invited to the opening? (Probably not.) [Starcasm via WetPaint]

Costume Jewelry Finds An Unlikely Muse In A Familiar Frozen Treat

Inspiration can be found in the least likely places — like, um, frozen yogurt. Pinkberry is good, but is it good enough to provide a solid foundation on which to launch a collection of jewelry? To honor the grand opening of Pinkberry’s first outer-borough location, Brooklyn-based jewelry brand Sorrelli fashioned earrings, necklaces, and bracelets to be sold both online and from a pop-up shop outside the new store in Park Slope. The pieces, made from berry-colored Swarovski crystals and antique gold, will retail from $38.40 for a pair of earrings to a seven-inch bracelet for $74.40. The collection isn’t the most … refined, and I’m not entirely sure how it’s meant to channel the beloved yogurt (other than, you know, being pink), but hey, what did you really expect from costume jewelry inspired by food? I’ll preface this Crave by saying I am literally Craving this right now, and as soon as you try it, you will be too. I consider myself fortunate to be able to say that ice cream is my only vice — well, aside from brut, brut rosé, prosecco, and any and all other varieties of sparkling wine beverages. I have also been known to get adventurous in the freezer section of the grocery store from time to time. Last night, my audacious nature while shopping for food led me straight into the arms of something called Adonia, which I feel is my destiny. A derivative of delicious gelato brand Ciao Bella, this new Greek frozen yogurt is fat-free, doesn’t contain any artificial sweeteners, and happens to be just 130 calories per serving (75 a pop, if you go for the bars), but what you want to know is how delicious is it? So, so delicious — cold, creamy, and smooth, with a texture somewhat like a more frozen Pinkberry. It comes in seven flavors (vanilla, raspberry, blueberry, key lime, peach, mango, and espresso), with bars in peach and blueberry. The peach is my favorite. You want to eat this. Adonia is brand new, but should be on the shelves of your grocery store of choice by the end of the month. [$6.99, Adonia by Ciao Bella]
